You couldn't say that about your disagreements with Cyber, but then that's probably because of the unresolved sexual tension.

The hollybush at ebstree, once a nice pub with excellent kids facilities has now been vandalised with a tub of white gloss.

The Old Post Office in Warwick. Because it's the one I'm in right now and I'm thirsty as fuck.
This year, to save me from tears
I'll give it to Hélder Costa

    Absolutely agree Paddy.

I like The Leaping Wolf for match days and yet others can't stand the place.

You could say they saw the light...

Honestly the painting in the hollybush is almost criminal, that bad they've not even washed it off the taps in the toilets and you can see where they ran out of paint on one wall.

The slide outside had a metal fence stake at the bottom of it a few years back, handy for impalling small children.

    The James Joyce,Prague.
Admittedly it's an Irish pub,but it's a proper country pub feel, good choice of beers, foods ok,atmospheres great, best of all its away from the tourist trail, down a side street, and used to have a tiny sign in the window so dead easy to miss,it's got tables outside now,so looks a bit more pubby
    The Sherlock Holmes, Bialystok Poland
English pub name, but weirdly a proper polish bar,it's right in the centre and great for people watching,I went in fully expecting an English bar, wasn't brave enough to risk a polish bar but anyway, that didn't quite work out.
There's a good one in koprivnice in the Czech Republic, behind the main hotel by the tatra museum, but it's name escapes me,I got suckered in by the 80s music blaring out,and it was a lot better than I thought it would be,and of course proper Czech lager

I liked Rocky O'Reilly's in Prague. Best steak sandwich I've ever had.

Loved all the pubs I visited in Prague. Might have been the ace lager at £1 though

Yeah, it's only down the road and Auds is still there. But it's not quite the same. 9/10 rather than 10/10.

My first local is gone now. Old Mitre between Vention and Essington.

As is my favourite pub in Manchester, Jabez Clegg.

On a nice day the Anchor at High Offley (near Norbury Junction) is great. Just a pub in a field in the middle of nowhere. Only one hand pump and very basic service, but it's a great place to have a pint and relax.

Ye Olde Mitre in Holborn was a favourite haunt when I worked in town. Bastard difficult to find up an alley off Ely Place, but well worth the search. Good beer and a decent menu for grub as well.

Only been in there once, haven't been back since I thought it was mainly full of nob heads. Might be because that was the week it opened. Will give it another go as the Welly does smell and the beer choice is pretty crap too now.

The first one I would have been in can't possibly be there now as it had no trade when I 'visited' - at boarding school in the late 60's and sixth former's over 18 were allowed to go to a designated pub just utside the school gates once a week & have 1 pint (pub was used by a lot of the teachers many of whom lived on the school site so heavily policed), but as I boarded at a house 3 miles away we were allowed to use a different pub.

The 3 Horseshoes at Selhurst in very rural Sussex - don't think that I ever saw more than 1 other person in there (apart from the owner) any time I went in. Tiny little pub in the middle of nowhere - can remember watching the 68 European Cup Final in there (George Best, Bobby Charlton et al) then coming back in an underpowered Morris Minor, which one of our number had borrowed off his mum to go home for a couple of days for family reasons.

8 of us in that with most of us having to get out whenever it came to an incline otherwise we ended up going backwards.
This year we will mainly be conquering Europe

I miss that place. At one point it was easily the best place to go for a steak, or any other pub food. I was surprised when we went past a while ago and it was shut.

Fucking hell they've took it down? I'm surprised it didn't get taken over again, there's no pub even close to there barring The Milestone (which isn't even really that close) and it was a decent place in a half decent spot. Should have popped in for a brew.

It had been boarded up for ages and I only looked as drove by it tonight as it was mentioned on here and looks like it it was floored this week, still some machinery where the pub once stood
