Misses the Pen and then plays the ball twice.

France player probably in big Trouble after that challenge.

Some of the passing from the back has been horrid too which has literally created every France chance. Not even an England player in the same postcode on some of them.

He's playing Abraham wide left, wtf. Since when could he play there?

Not many tap-ins from 5 yards available in that position.

Shite tactics. Haven't got a clue what he was thinking. Just inviting pressure.

Dreadful defending. The subs especially Abraham have been baffling.

You can hear him screaming to the players play through the middle. Why you need Tammy Abraham and his complete lack of hold-up play to do that I have no idea.

They’ve really arsed this up, it’s just like watching the real England...

Some good football played with 11 men though, the red card killed them, and was seriously stupid.
Feigning concern, a Labour pastime, makes you feel doubtful right from the start. The expression he pulls is exactly like last time, got to assume he just hasn't a brain!

Well the way this tournament is formatted that’s England almost out. Agreed Bothroyd is a buffoon and his tactics cost us. Along with Choudhury utter stupidity

Reality is at 1-0 with 11v11 I thought England would have won the game. But if your tactic is to just hoof it long upfield and bring on Calvert Lewis and Abraham with the brief to defend what the hell do you expect.
Sunday league decision making and call me harsh but it’s the players at bothroyd disposal that’s got him this far not his tactical nous.

The general shape and tactics he had from the start were ok (although he didn't get the personnel right in the front three). But once we went down to 10 men it was impossible to fathom what we were even trying to do. For about five minutes we played Foden as a false 9 and then brought on two strikers who only ever play up front, took off the wide men and asked them to play as second full backs, while parking Maddison in front of the back four, and had no-one up front.

Mason Mount looked like a proper showpony and totally the wrong man to bring on in that situation.

Sessegnon is going to be a very lucky boy if he gets a move. I have no idea what he is supposed to be. He hides, he can't beat a man, he actually doesn't offer anything defensively despite spending some of his upbringing as a full back/wing back and generally looks shit scared when anyone goes near him.

I didn't see the game, but Barnes is better than Gray or Seasegnon and both DCL and Abraham are better number 9's than Solanke.

Like England's men's team last year there is an argument that losing this game is the smart move.

Chiesa needs a yellow (or a ban) for that. Simulation is only going to get worse with VAR and itís needs stamping out.
