Excellent news. Nice to have some genuine competition/back up for Raul and he offers us something a bit different to what we already have.

    What a signing. Delighted.

I'm in such a good mood, I'll change Nando's typo on the thread title.

Only slightly more than Leeds are going to pay us for Costa who was never going to be a starter for us again.

Only slightly more than United paid for Dan James.

Almost as if it's worth waiting for proper deals for proper players rather than "getting players in early", because of course signing someone on 12 July rather than 30 July is going to make a massive difference.

Really pleased with this one. Will complement our other options nicely and we finally have options up top other than a make shift option using a winger in the position

Fucking hell we absolutely wring the best value out of the market. Fosun must be some seriously good poker players.

The rest must have been shocking

Love the fact that, aside the rare blip, our signings just make sense.

What a good signing - welcome Patrick. A much needed addition to our forward like that will mean we don’t have to exhaust Diogo and Raul too. Will help after international breaks a lot.

My personal favs from the many on Twitter

When the ball hits the goal
    It's not Shearer or Cole

When the ball hit the net
    like a fucking rocket
    It's Cutroneeeee

But one of the Milan vids (near the end) just has the fans around the ground chanting Cu - tro - ne, Cu - tro - ne which sounded bloody awesome

I don't think we are going for an AM. Pretty clear Dias is the big target. But you just never know with Fosun.

We definitely need an attacking midfielder who can contribute goals, far more than we need another CB.

You obviously don't turn down the opportunity to bring in Dias if he becomes available at the right price but I hope our priority lies with a midfield player now.

We're definitely in for Gedson Fernandes. I can't see us getting either now though. Benfica have no reason to deal at anything other than the full release fees.

I understand why we would want a player of the calibre of Dias but surely we are sorted defensively already?

Still time to go. We might just push the boat out and get both. I think Gedson is more likely than Olmo, but it seems pretty clear that Dias is someone we really REALLY want. I think we will activate his release clause.

The bit at the end of that video was taken from just after he’d scored and the AC Milan shouty man says Patrick and the fans say Cutrone and repeat several times. I like that about a lot of European clubs.

My view is that if a player like Dias becomes available and will come to your club you buy them. But clearly we need another attacker. We play two up front and if one of our three gets injured then we're desperately short. Anyway, that's for the transfer thread. For now, welcome Patrick and Forza Wolves!

Daft question, and as always feel free to take the piss, how do we manage to get quality players in, for reasonable fees, rather than paying silly prices like say West Ham? is it due to uncle Jorge? Or some other reason?
See post #5516 of ex wolf watch to find out why in my house,i hate Kenny Miller
