    Talking iTunes

I have iTunes installed on my main PC and on my ipad.

Whenever I used to download a CD onto iTunes on the PC it updated the iTunes on my laptop.

    Now it doesn't.

I've tried all the solutions offered online but nothing seems to work.

    Can anybody help?

    Cheers

(PS I know iTunes is old and clunky and may disappear soon.........)

Yes - get Spotify. Seriously - you'll never look back.

    iTunes is absolutely horrendous.

iTunes is indeed horrendous but I’ve found it’s a necessary evil for backing up our phones when we have new ones, hate using it though.

I think they removed support for CDs in iTunes a while ago. Itís a horrendously awful piece of software.

On backup you can use iCloud? One of my kids wiped my iPhone last Friday and it was fully re-set up automatically restored from iCloud within an hour or two.

    is the laptop a mac?

if so, guessing there's some weirdness with itunes being retired on MacOS and not being fully integrated with your PC itunes anymore.

if not, I have no idea.

I’ve always struggled like fuck with iCloud, no idea why but I always have to resort to iTunes.

is it a synch issue then?
it is not that I have no past. rather, it continually fragments on the terrible and vivid ephemera of now.
