I'm sure most football clubs budget on cash forecasts before the season. Unless SKY etc renegade on contractual payments there would be no need to cut their wages. It's the advertisers who are ultimately hit and the gambling parasites. Going forward I can see the money flowing out of football though. If FOSUN get itchy feet it may get interesting for our beloved club.

The PL issue is foreign tv money who are threatening to not pay. No product, no money

Ok. I guess the refunds means no payments to the clubs.

Did anyone see the tweet by the Villa full kit wanker the other day?

Stood in a room in his house with the "Europa League music" playing...applauded to all sides of his room, picked up his football and "trotted to his goal".... Like fucking weird man!!
Wolves have ambition and wit... why is it such a crime?

Liverpool the latest club to put staff on furlough and use government cash to pay the wages
Prediction 24th January: 14 games to go: 6 wins, 5 draws, 3 defeats - final points 57 when the league finishes in May 2023...

You have to apply to the scheme and the hope is that a payout will come out the end of the month. I hope that the government throws out all claims from Premier League clubs.

I suppose sometimes you do have to walk alone then.

Karius and Adrian will attest to that. Well, they were told to die alone, I suppose there's a difference.

None of those are ‘quite’ as profitable as Spurs, neither are Liverpool for that matter. It’s interesting that all the London based media focused on Liverpool though.

It's better without commentary - just the chat with the match going on in that the same time

I’d have preferred 95% chat from the actual players and 5% from the other two. Neves had buggered off long before he’d scored his goal.

You and me both mate, Chris and his insight into defenders and goalkeeping qualities started to drag after a bit

    Observations:

    - We are much better at defending set pieces now than we were then. Still very rickety and it took us the best part of 18 months under Nuno to sort out properly
    - Was talking to Lycan during the game and he mentioned how much you appreciate Moutinho watching this. Big time
    - Saiss loved a properly stupid tackle then
    - Leo's effort off the post would have been such a good goal. Gave them the eyes and everything
    - FFS Costa
    - It's never a pen on the first one
    - Fuck you Colin

    He's a fucking moron.

He's the reason why I can't watch the Old Gold Club. He asks a question and then fucking waffles for 30+ seconds afterwards. Never gives the guy he's interviewing a chance to speak.

I don't mind him but, yeah, his questions are infuriating. They are the longest questions in the world.
