    Code of Conduct

    * No trolling - posts designed purely to wind up other users will not be tolerated.

    * No illegal content to be posted anywhere on the site, i.e. libelous comments/illegal porn etc.

    * No posting of personal details without consent.

    * No images in signatures/no animated avatars, no swearing in usernames. Keep the overall size of your signatures small, anything over 4 lines of normal sized text will be removed.

    * No reproduction of copyrighted contain without the express permission of the copyright holder (Such permission should be forwarded to an admin/moderator)

    * While we have no problem with humerous banter, be aware of the feelings of other posters. If admins/mods feel that banter is going too far they will step in.

    * No spamming.

    * Members should endeavour to start threads in the appropriate forum.

    * Members should endeavour to stay broadly on topic. Should a thread deviate strongly from its original topic, mods/admins may move appropriate posts to a new thread.

    * In the event of members breaking the rules, mods/admins will take appropriate action - in the first case this may be as mild as simply editing/moving the offending posts, and privately informing the offender - therefore other posters shouldn't assume that, because no public waring was given, that the matter has not been dealt with. Further transgressions may, at the discretion of the admin team, result in public warnings, temporary bans, or in the most serious cases, permanent exclusion

    * All bannings will require the agreement of two mods/admins. In keeping with the transparency ethic, these bannings will be in a thread detailing: who is banned, why they're banned, for how long they're banned, and which mods/admins actioned the banning. This will hopefully be a quiet thread.

    * If you disagree with the admins/mods decisions, feel free to contact the admin/mod responsible. We will consider any points you make, but this does not mean we will agree with them.

    * Members are free to post 'inside info', but only after informing a mod/admin in advance of who the source is. Such info will, of course, be kept secret, but all 'inside info' posted without a source will be liable to be deleted.

    * Duplicate accounts are not allowed. Any found will be deleted without warning. Should a member use a duplicate account to circumvent a ban/suspension, the dupe will be deleted and the original ban increased.

    * Some forums may have additional rules - these will be detailed in a sticky thread in that forum as required

    Can I just say I find this in particular to be highly commendable, & I feel it will impact positively on the forum.
    It may well also seriously prevent all the "what happened to..." threads cropping up.
