Just picked up the latest Judas Priest - Firepower.

Oh my God. It absolutely kills. Completely fucking brilliant.

You really do. Weird to have no KK there, and obvs Glenn is sick and struggling to play, but holy shit. THE RIFFS, THE SOLOS, THE PRODUCTION, THE SOUND OF HALFORD.

It's their best since Painkiller, maybe even since Defenders of the Faith.

Saw Doves in Birmingham (Perry Park) last summer, good to have them back on the live circuit. Great live band.

Watched Bombay Bicycle Club in Oxford last night.

Good gig. Pleased to see them back and back on form. The new album has a proper old school BBC vibe to it.

I saw them in Nottingham in November and they played through the whole of their debut album and a few of the newer ones to finish.

Was never their biggest fan but they're a good live band.

in the early 2000s the great eastern was my sunday morning bad hangover choice of music.
after a while i couldn't listen to it at any time without feeling ill and so stopped completely.
think i'd be ok with it now.

All at the same time ?
Why they will qualify: Nuno Espirito Santo is actually a tactical genius.

Rage Against The Machine confirmed headliners for Reading Festival this year.

Also, new tracks released yesterday from Enter Shikari & New Found Glory. Wasn't a bad Monday all in all!

The Dave album, Psychodrama, is brilliant. For those who didn't see it, here's his performance of 'Black' from the Brits last week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXLS2IzZSdg
