In no way do I want to assume anything, but when :)icon_smile:) we are in the Premier League next year tickets are going to become seriously hard to get if you are not a season ticket holder.

Depending on what they want next season for one of those (prices not announced yet) then it might be sensible to take one (especially as an OAP I will get a discount) - the ticket price has never been the deciding financial factor in when I came up anyway.

However, I am not going to be able to make all as the travel & ancillary costs make it unaffordable (evening kick offs always need an overnight stay as no trains available to get me home & don't fancy a 3 1/2 hour drive at that time of night) so would need a 'local agent' to hold the card and pass it to me (or named others if I am not there) as appropriate.

The only issue I am not sure of is the fact that mine will be a discounted OAP ticket, but sure that my members card has never been checked & the turnstile should let you through if its a valid card & has no way of defining what age you are.

We already have a designated season ticket agent who collects and distributes tickets, sure he wouldn't mind holding more lol

As for the OAP ticket, the scanner would let you through with valid card I'd imagine, just whether you get checked in the ground by stewards

I've been the official ticket tout lately, works ok.

I think the light flashes a different colour when you go through the turnstile on a concession ticket, but they don't check. If anyone wants to be a cleanshirt they can upgrade it at the ticket office anyway.

Doesn’t it show an green light for adult and green and amber for concessions?

Not sure the Stewards pay too much attention though, but I guess there will be the odd game where they are told to pay attention.

Unless every in front of me has always been another OAP (& they are looking seriously young if they are) then only seen it go green when it releases the turnstile - the Stewards have never bothered with that (just seem to be concerned that I am not carrying something that I shouldn't- what that is I am not sure though)

Goes Green when I go in with the smart card as a member - not sure whether it can differentiate between adults & old people as there aren't different catagories for that

I shall wait and see what the MyWolves membership costs are and any associated benefits. Otherwise it'll be very hard to get tickets that aren't right in the flanks or low down.

It's supposed to be Green and Amber for all concessions, not that anyone checks and my lads U12 ticket is hit and miss with regards to what colour it shows

Since the Villa home game last year, I have been desperately saving and trying to pay off a few things to enable some kind of affording something, anything. I've said since I was a kid that a dream was always to have a season ticket, even if only for 1 season. I had to reappraise a lot of stuff when my dad was 50 - became seriously ill, spent a few weeks in ICU in a coma, and had to give up work. Since then, have spent a fair bit supporting my folks, as they have always done for me.

I'm close. Dunno whether I'll be able to scrape enough to actually afford one (and like you PLF, there will be some games at the beginning & end of a season I won't be able to attend). I hope to be able to try to get one (demand will no doubt outstrip supply), but if not, the type of thing Jinky suggested on another thread would be an amazing solution/option to have if Wolves do it.

Will be watching the club announcements closely, as well as my bank account.
Ideally I should have bought a half season ticket, but the finances were nowhere near in order...

I’ll have to dip out next season I know I’ve got a pretty large tax bill coming from the Hmrc in January so any disposable money is saving for that.
Might get a membership so I can at least get to a few games.

hi Peter. i would be interested in buying the odd match from you during the season, obviously a match you're not planning on attending. My criteria are getting a plane ticket for good money as opposed to selecting the opposition.

Can anyone confirm if they offer pay monthly on full season tickets? They didn't on half season tickets

Also - the guys in the turnstiles don't seem to care what age ticket you use

Also random - On 3 separate occasions so far, the stewards have asked me how old I am before they search me, in case I'm under 16. I'm 28 years old

They have done in previous seasons so no reason why they won't continue that

There is a Wolves mastercard (by a firm called Creation Financial Services Limited) that offers interest free on Wolves season ticket purchases.
Its on the official Wolves site.

6 months interest free on the Season Tickets with them.

My sister has the Wolves Mastercard, been using it for a good few years now. It eases the blow and more so this season I suspect.

Sorry, is that card the only option or do they just offer a pay monthly on the site? Don't do credit cards

They have done monthly Direct Debit payments for Season Tickets before. I can't see that changing for next season. Think they spread it over 6 months
