Wolves and the council announce that there will be a celebration in the City Centre to mark our promotion on Monday 7th May.

No info in whether that will inc a bus parade or not just yet

I'd better book the Tuesday off work then. Can't get to any more games, never been to anything like this before, no brainer.

quite the birthday present. a shame I won't be present!

Hmmmm, Im in the UK that day, but I will be at a BBQ in Manchester.

Would be some laugh to come down for the celebrations though, even for just a few hours....

Early Start for those staying in Sunderland and want to see the Celebrations
Supporters will be able to line the route as the buses travel down Lichfield Street, through Queen Square, down Darlington Street, turning into Waterloo Road, across the Ring Road, turning into Newhampton Road East, Lansdowne Road and along Park Road East.

Nuno and the team will then head to West Park where up to 30,000 fans can greet their heroes, with the head coach and players set to address the crowd and show off the Championship trophy.

The celebrations will continue through the afternoon with music and a fun fair.

Fans who want to go to West Park will have to arrive by 11.30am before the bus sets off, so supporters are advised they have to choose to either attend the street parade or the West Park party, which will be shown on a large screen in Queen Square for those who don't attend.

Tickets for the West Park event are free and limited to four per person. Ticket details will be released via Wolves and the council on Monday.

Hmm that start time does seem a bit early for those coming back from the North East.

I've booked the Tuesday off work so I'll be there.

Can you do a live stream so I can watch in Portugal. Cheers x

That is going to clash completely with the Sikh parade in the same area in the morning. Going to be absolute bloody chaos.

I'm gutted. I can't make the game tomorrow as it's my nieces birthday, so we are over in Hereford for the weekend. And I can't make this celebration, as I am in Scotland at a wedding.

Basically missing all the festivities! I'm sure there will be plenty of coverage - just gutted I can't be a part of it.

I'm thinking I'll just be there for the bus tour, then fuck off to the pub to celebrate once they go to the park. It'll be like a matchday in reverse.

Anyone else thinking of coming along to this?

Langers which pub you going in?

I'll try and get tickets for the park party. I'd like to take the kids so at least they can run around in the park while they are waiting.

How do you get tickets for the West Park thing?

You get them from Wolves or the Council on Monday

Presume the will put a link up on the webpage around 10am

I’ll be there. Don’t know whether I’ll be in town or at the park yet, I’ll see what the teapots want to do.

bloody selfish inconsiderate family/friends you seem to have...

Too far for me to want to come to see some people on a bus - can do that down here, though not often as we don't have that many buses going through

Will celebrate on Saturday when they hand the trophy over.
