Much debate on the chasing pack thread so I thought we may as well have a poll. Its been a while. The question is what will be our final points total?

Under 90
90-95
96-99
over 100
Beat Readings 106

Vote away

That's not a poll, that's just you doing some writing :)

100 and over surely? Right now you've excluded exactly 100 - but 102 for me

104-105 would be my guess. Would love us to take that last crumb of glory away from shitty little Reading but that will require an almost perfect finish.

As long as we get at least 1 more point than 3rd place, i am not giving any fucks on what our final total will be.

Reckon that we will get to the 100 mark (2 ppg av from here)

Beating Reading's record is doable though difficult and ultimately academic - how many we win by is of no benefit next season

I think we will be just short of 100. Once promotion is confirmed I think we will experiment with teams, formations etc. which may have a slight impact on our eventual total.

I'd be amazed if we experimented to the detriment of points. Nuno has far more respect for other sides to do that and we could still influence what happens at both ends of the table. And we wouldn't deviate from our formation.

coincidentaly Newcastles record for their last 14 games last year was 7-4-3 ! final points 94

Burnley won 10-4-0 the season before- final points 93

Bournemouth 10-4-0 in 2014- final points 90

That would suggest that Newcastle was a bit of an outlier really.

IIRC Brighton were in a shoe in for the title but messed up in the last couple of weeks. Just checked and they lost 2 and drew the other out of the last 3 matches after promotion was secured.

Their record at that point was Won 8 lost 3.

Anything less than Reading's record total show a treacherous lack of ambishun, imo.

I want this done ASAP don’t want any drama, not bothered how many points we get or even the title just get up. I miss the Hull, Cardiff and Derby games as I’m in Crete and won’t be bothered if it happens when I’m away.

I went with 99. Based on 14 left, 3 losses, 3 draws, 8 wins. So 27 points, plus our 72 = 99.

I'm undercooking it slightly I think. But hey if you think 6 "not a win" out of 14 is too much then there's your 100 points :)

Talk about tempting fate. This thread should be deleted pronto

Watch the panic set in amongst some fans if the gap closes to less than 6 points. We still have games against Reading, Burton, Hull, Blues, Bolton, Sheff Wed and Sunderland should be enough points in those games alone. Don’t think we’ll lose every game against Fulham, Leeds, Villa, Boro, Cardiff and Derby.
