We don't make a profit

We don't owe Fosun much/anything so they can't take it back

They don't and won't pay themselves dividends

They can't just rip transfer income off the club and keep it themselves, it's not legal
Yep, the only way to extract cash in the absence of any loans that need to be repaid by the club to Fosun would be by way of a dividend to shareholder(s), which can only happen if there is enough retained profit from the previous financial year to pay a dividend (otherwise, it's an unlawful dividend). I've just repeated your own words back at you, on reflection :D

Fair, but it can also reduce losses and in theory they can sell the club with less debt. I withtrack my theory however, just trying to understand this madness as much as the next person.

This is way beyond my knowledge but to my untrained eye it looks like a charge has been created against the entire ownership (shares) of the club?

AI says this...

Alter Domus typically acts on behalf of institutional investors or lenders. Their involvement suggests that third-party capital is being injected into the company, possibly through debt or structured equity.

- Charge Registration:
The company has pledged assets as collateral. This is common when raising funds—either through a loan, bond issuance, or private equity investment—to protect the investor’s position.

- Timing & Structure:
The fact that the charge was created and delivered on the same day (15 September 2025) suggests a coordinated financial event, likely tied to a larger transaction.

View attachment 14864What reason can there be for those subs in the first 2 minutes!?
Haven't fact checked this.....

Tonight in the National League Cup, Forest Green Rovers made FOUR subs just 1 minute into the game.. why you may ask 👇

In this competition, National League clubs must start at least 4 first-team outfield players who qualify from kick-off.

Qualifying players are those who:
■ Started the previous first-team match
■ In the club's top 10 in starting appearances this season
■ Have 40+ career starts
■ Are on loan from a Premier League or category One academy club.

Fines are up to £5,000 for non-compliance

Forest Green found a way around it, however, and I guess you have to applaud them for it.

This competition is a load of nonsense and has been criticised by most clubs and fans. ❌

The game was against Wolves' academy side, and despite the early subs, Forest Green still won 3-2.

It's weird though, when we've done this before the charge has been against PL sponsorship money rather than ownership of the club.

The ownership element makes me think it might be something a bit different that getting at the PL money early

A charge being registered now fits the normal financing playbook that football clubs use to manage cash flow, seasonality, and investment cycles.

Wanted to buy a ticket for the Tottenham game this morning, I have managed it but the ticket site was awful! Normally I just buy my home tickets last minute so the site doesn't have much traffic but for whatever reason this time it said my basket expired a couple of times and then wouldn't accept either of my cards, had to use a friend's. Is this normal? Seems to be a lot worse than how the ticket site was before we changed.

Managed to get three member tickets for Spurs away easily this morning. There's still plenty left. I appreciate it is a very anti-social kick-off time and getting a train back to Wolverhampton would basically be impossible after the game, but I cannot remember the last time I was able to buy a ticket to a London away game as a mere member. Usually I have to use others' season tickets.

Turns out the charge was to a company called Enormous Victory, who are wholly owned by Fosun.

Something is going on here...

I don't know why I'm doing this to myself but might anyone be able to let me use two supporter numbers please?
