Hope/presume 1 or 2 newbies will arive before 5pm Thursday but if not, then same team that started the 2nd half v Villarreal

............#11

...Bennett - Coady - Boly

Doc - Moutinho - Neves - Jonny

......Costa - Jiminez - Jota

It's a good time to be playing Everton; they're strengthening, but that defence is still ropey, and any new players they bring in won't have much time to bed in.

2-1 Wolves, with Jota scoring the winner. Not even going to bother predicting the team, but I'd bet that the defence looks significantly different come Saturday.

As above, really hard to know what Everton will be like on Saturday. Not expecting to many goals in this one either.

We can beat these.

2-0 Wolves (Jota, Neves)

Proper preview coming on Friday (yep, they're back this year) but for now: Lycan has it right. We can beat these, definitely.

Traore won't be fit so he won't be in the equation.

I wouldn’t imagine anyone we sign would go straight into the team anyway though - our big strength is the system so I’d expect the new superstars to start life on the bench.

Leo went straight in last season despite signing right before kick off

Cannot wait for this, so excited to see how good we actually are.
I fancy us to turn them over 2-0 Jiminez, and Jota

If we sign an upgrade on Bennett or Doherty, I absolutely would expect them to go into the starting 11. I can't imagine we're looking to sign anything other than improvements over what we've got by this point (with the possible exception of Traore).

Had completely missed this was on BT, I am away on Saturday so might try and get back for the kickoff now so I can watch it. Will be a good indication of where our team is at versus established Prem opposition.

Think they have players which don't necessarily tally with the style Silva imposes and newer players might not yetbe upto speed, good opportunity to expose those frailties.

Chances of the temp stand being open for Saturday?

They were looking at this at one point I believe?
