Cancelo, Guedes, Abate?

All very glamorous indeed but surely the real news of the summer so far is Aaron Collins' move to League Two Colchester United on a season-long loan.

And for that very reason I've decided to start a new thread to discuss our loanees' fortunes during the forthcoming season;

Who do we think will go where this year?

Will we use our Premier League status and Mendes connection to send our youngsters off to a higher standard of clubs across Europe?

Will Ethan Ebanks-Landell finally demonstrate his worth by setting League Two on fire with a series of Baresi-eque defensive masterclasses?

There's only one place to find out. Feel free to post any updates, rumours and comments in here.

This list will be updated as and when more loan news comes in;

Awesome - thanks for doing this again mate. You did a fantastic job last season!

FIne job you are doing mate.

You forgot poor Dan McKenna whose football "education" continued tonight when Bray decided that as things were not going bad enough already, they would play for 87 minutes with 10 men v Shamrock Rovers, unsurprisingly ended in 5-0 tonking.

He did also play when they actually won a game earlier in the week 3-1 against St Pats.

HITC saying Seedorf is signing a new deal with us and then joining Bradford on loan.

Who is manager there now? That could be a good move for him

Don't think they have one yet but are signing players anyway

Harry Burgoyne has gone to Plymouth for the season.

New GK incoming...?

He doesn't exactly need replacing...but hopefully yes! Good move for him. With the way goalkeepers mature, I'm glad to have him on the books for a couple more seasons just to see how he progresses.

He's not going to make it unfortunately, he isn't very good. I think League One is beyond him for now (probably will always be beyond him) and he won't hold down the place there.

We do need to replace him as three keepers of at least some seniority is important to have, especially at the level we're at now (remember he ended up making his debut in the first place because we had nothing beyond Carl and Lonners). The young lads behind him in Beasley and Sondergaard are nothing like ready to take on that role yet.

Clearly we are signing a keeper though.

I imagine we will bring in a third choice keeper along with Patricio as Norris will probably be sent to a championship side (ideally).

Surely we'll be sending Ruddy or Patricio in loan as Norris begins his challenge for an England place?

Thank you, sir (same to Langers)

McKenna's loan is a strange one. Granted, he's Irish but he's another one who I'm not sure will benefit from playing at such a level.

As for Burgoyne, I haven't seen enough of him to completely write him off but agree it doesn't look good for him. Maybe a storming loan spell in Devon will give Nuno food for thought...

Burgoyne won't make it with us while we are in the top tiers. He might do alright for himself and make a career of being at league 1/2 level. That or he might stick around at Wolves in the background as he is a popular character I've noticed.

He did OK at Anfield but he doesn't give you any confidence at all.

If there’s one youth player who I would genuinely like to see succeed in our first team, it would be Harry - as I grew up in Ludlow and it’s always nice to see local lads do well. He’s played golf with my dad a couple of times at Ludlow Club and by all accounts sounds like a nice, genuine lad.

Then I remember that every time I’ve seen him play he’s been way off where he needs to be to succeed at this level. I guess he’ll always have Anfield away.

Seedorf to Bradford on loan until January.

Good loan for him, hope he a) actually plays unlike most of our loanees and b) does well.
