Manager of the Season

Poch the outsider there - whichever of Pep or Klopp wins the league will get it (Pep for MC doing it back to back or Klopp for the first Pool win for so long)

Nuno deserves to be in the mix though.

(PS have voted for Nuno as I'm biased)

Poch shouldn't be there for me, they've fallen away hideously in the last 3 months.

I voted for Klopp.

Not really. Though he probably deserves to win.

It will be Klopp, Pep, Nuno, Pocchetino, in that order.

Amazing achievement to even be nominated.

(Klopp will win because Liverpool fans will vote in massive numbers)

Spurs are 9th on current form (last 6 games).

We are 4th behind Everton who are 3rd on goal difference.

We're 4th in the table if you run from when we changed our formation vs Chelsea at home (although we did play 3-4-3 a couple of times after that).

That's a crazy stat. which just shows what a fantastic season we've had.

Nuno deserves any recognition he receives from the league and his peers.
What a manager he's been for us since he arrived.

Yes.
Yes.
Yes.

Klopp & Pep were always going to be in there - Nuno has fully deserved his inclusion

Both of the first 2 have had staggering seasons (to get to Pool's points total & fail to win, which I think they will, is incredible), but given the base we were coming from not sure that Nuno hasn't matched them.

If City complete the domestic treble then Pep has to win it.

You could also argue that if Watford win the cup final then Gracia would have been a deserving winner.

Poch nominated presumably for reaching Champions League semi-final but Klopp has gone one better.

It's the Premier League Manager of the Year

The website seems to make a big thing of loads of the season being played away from their "home ground".

1) They played at Wembley last season, and in CL games before that even

2) This is a new ground, they've never played there before

Seems odd. But outwith Gracia I can't think of another contender. Hasenhüttl and Brodge have done really well but they've been around for nowhere near long enough.

Spurs win last night may change things - if they beat Pool in Madrid then he may have a chance to come through

If City win the UK treble still expect it to be him

Although I am not a supporter of the above four clubs I do believe Nuno would be a good shout for manager of the season. Been excellent for Wolves.

I think it would be useful to the discussion (i.e., eradicate some of the confusion) if someone could clarify whether the competition is about the best manager in the Premier League, i.e, in PL matches, or whether it is about the best PL manager, which would include all the games that such managers have coached, i.e., it would include all games, including those in European competitions.

I think beating all four European finalists in one season would put Nuno in quite a decent position! Hopefully we can complete the league set on Sunday.
