Just bagged tickets for this and Bristol, didn't realise they'd been on sale for a week. Hopefully Saville and Wallace have calmed down after their scoring exploits this week.

Neither Saville or Wallace ever did it 2 matches in a row for us so happy that they have got it out of their system

----------------- Ruddy ----------------

------ Miranda - Coady - Boly ---------

Doherty --- Saiss --- Neves --- Douglas

---------- Jota --------- Cavaleiro ------

----------------- Soares ----------------

That would be my team :icon_wink:

You haven't put our new right wing back signing in Bear...

Who dat den?

Shame Dani Alves isn't still available.

Unfortunately until Phil gets fit (?) then we're stuck with Mr ex Gloves - the right side will be noticeably weak .

With the squad as it is now:

Ruddy

Miranda Coady Boly

Vinagre Neves Saiss Douglas

Cavaleiro Bonatini Jota

SUBS: Norris, Batth, Doherty, Price, Costa, Bennett, Enobakhare

I saw enough from Vinagre yesterday to suggest he's ready for first team football, a very accomplished player, Portuguese fans should be very excited about this kid. If he can play RWB then throw him in over Doc, he's not done anything wrong this season (apart from spanner that 2nd half chance out of the ground yesterday) but Vinagre looks special.

Hopefully Costa can make the bench, I've missed watching him run at defenders (watching Jota has helped).

If Graham actually isnt off on loan then got a decent amount of time to work on being a rwb hopefully! Probably a massive long shot but Marc Albrighton made the switch handily.

Under Squarehead Pearson.

When Costa is back fit and with Jota on the other side, anddddddddddddd with a new striker, where does that leave Cav ? Can Cav be one of those that can slot into a striker role. Cav, Leo and 'That big named striker thats coming in this week so we're lead to believe'

That's the thing that's so exciting about this squad, we'll be able to rotate Jota, Costa, Cav & Bright throughout the season. They'll all play their part.

Nash reckons Boly is out for 2-3 weeks.

Poo.

Bennett or Batth? Hopefully Danny.

Hause would obviously be ideal if we can get him a behind closed doors game or whatever.

If Hause isn't fit I could actually see it being Deslandes as he's a left sided defender

I know that Deslandes isn't rated by some on here, but he was OK in the Soton game & not significantly worse than either Baath or Bennett who are the other options if Hause isn't considered to be match ready

Imagine it would be Batth (who was the best of the three against Southampton) but might be an awkward fit for him or Miranda.

Miranda's not bad with his left foot, and iirc he's spent most of his career playing as the left of a CB pair? Maybe he'll move over and Batth'll come in on the right.

Saiss plays left of a back three for Morocco. Stick him there and play the new signing alongside Neves.
