Douglas needs dropping ASAP, in my eyes.

Doherty probably needs a rest as well but can we get away with playing Bennett there in the league? I don't know.

Saiss suspended for next match so N'Diaye will probably come in.

Really poor result and frustrating as hell, but other results have fallen in a way that this doesn't push us out of the automatic spots. On to the next.

No real complaints about the result although we did miss some chances before falling behind.

Haven’t been, didn’t listen, briefly followed on Twitter and SSN so I can’t really post any insight or opinion.

Just disappointed we couldn’t take a draw from this. Bad day at the office.

Saiss now suspended but would probably be rested anyway. Vinagre deserves to come in. Boly is probably our best defender and there is no room for sentiment so he should come in. Not sure anyone else is really knocking on the door.

Shit all round against a shit team. Losing games to crap like this will hurt us if we make a habit of it. Deserved nothing got nothing. I hate QPR and I detest Norwich. So will be happier when that games is out the way to!

Honestly, kind of a crummy match with neither side playing that well. QPR's first goal was down to Saiss and then Ruddy making bad mistakes, but their second was well taken. Our goal was a good finish by Bonatini and an incredible run by Jota, but it was too rare that we saw any magic from our attacking players. Lots of misplaced passes, things not as crisp as they usually are, too, and Neves and Saiss couldn't really put their stamp on midfield. By the end of the game we were being played through in the middle in a way we usually just don't let happen, as well, which was disappointing.

A draw would have been fair but can't complain, QPR took their couple of good chances better than we did and that's what matters.

We aren't going to win every week. This is a pisser of a result, and by all accounts was a very poor performance, but the damage done has been minimal thank goodness.

We must learn the lessons and not be this poor again.

We will play poorly from time to time it's how we react which is key. So far we've reacted very well.

That carrot crunching scrumpy guzzler holloway will be overjoyed that he's proven these fancy foreigners don't like it up em. Onwards and upwards

I had this down as the easier of the 2 games, if we go to Norwich and win on Tuesday then all is fine but it’s a tough ask

We can't win them all. On to Norwich.

One thing to note: can you refrain from using swear words in thread titles please? Fairly sure the swear filter doesn't work on titles.

Feel free to swear like a fucking bastard in the thread though seeing as we lost.

Cheers.

One of the first games this season I’ve not been at or followed. So hopefully if I don’t take much notice of it I can deny it ever happened.

We didn’t play well today and QPR put everything in to it. They were awful first half too but improved in the second. Jota and Bonatini were the standouts and Miranda was the pick of the back 3 until Smith came on and he just couldn’t deal with him. Draw probably would have been fair bit can’t argue with them getting the winner. Will give a better review when i get back.

Both goals resulted from us giving the ball away. Poor defending of the cross again for the second. Lacklustre performance all round, with a couple of sublime attacks, but too few and far between. If Bonatini had put away his chance at 1-1, we would almost certainly have won. So nothing to suggest we won't still go up.

Didn't play THAT bad to be fair.

They upped the tempo in the second half and got into our midfields faces more seeing as they didn't trouble us for the last 25 mind of the 1st half.

Thought Neves passing was off and he bottled out of at least 3 challenges but Douglas and Doherty both had stinkers.

We barely played down our left in the 2nd half so Jota resorted to the right to try and get in the match.

I said the only way they would score would be an header and low and behold the bfg rises up and win's it for em.

Onwards we go and I fully expect a harder game at Norwich although it will be a more "football" game.

Not to say QPR don't play football it's just that I think this match was the least football we had played on the floor all season.

Also, I'm not sure I would have took Bonatini off.

Only had the pleasure of WM and the Sky highlights. We need an out and out target man in the squad as an option when Bonatini goes off, to give us that alternative, not a lump like Smith but someone who can attack a ball when we are chasing a game. Boly for Miranda from now on, when teams take the game to us he gets bullied in the air, Ruddy still in credit, but not many mistakes left before he isn't, Vinagre for Douglas on Tuesday as well. I would have been happy with 5 points from these 3 games, but 6 now looks a steep task.

Apologies, didn't realize that. Will note it for my titles in the future.

Just seen the highlights. Looks like Bonatini maybe could have and probably should have had a hat trick. Not sure why he is waiting for that ball to drop, just go and head it and you score in the empty net. And the one he skies... just swivel on your favoured right foot!

We absolutely don't need a target man at all. That isn't the way we play at all. Ridiculous. Are you Lambert in disguise?

Fuck off and read what I posted. We spent the last 5 minutes, putting the ball into the box without anybody to attack it.

Watched 60 odd minutes of it. Everyone was below par, but a special shout out to Saiss who was horrible. Douglas made a couple of crunching tackles but seemed off the pace again. Creativity from the front three was as poor as I've seen it (Cav was rightly hooked as he was having a stinker and was offside more times than I care to remember). Neves struggled with his passing and lost out in a number of 50/50 challenges.

Really bad day at the office. We managed one really nice, fluent piece of play around the hour when Jota dummied and it went in to Leo, quick little one two between them and Leo badly got his body position wrong and shot over. If that had gone in (we were well on top at that point), I think we'd have gone on to win comfortably. Fine lines, and today it cost us.

Fortunately it's a quick turn around in games this week so we can put things right against Norwich.

On Tuesday, N'Diaye will come in for Saiss. Vinagre will come in for Douglas. Costa might start ahead of Cav, but can't see a huge amount of changes other than that. Possibly Boly might come back in.
