The Cricket Thread

India were doing to chase down any total that was below 4 an over. They’ll do this 3 down max. Rahul will probably carry his bat
Yep Broad & Anderson would struggle to defend this but would at least push India to a 2/3 wicket win.

From 153/4 to 39/6 without doubt Joe Root wicket was pivotal highest scorer with 40 followed by Stokes and then extras.

135 needed with 6 wickets in hand, working from home tomorrow get in

That's good work from England, hoping they ram my comments down my throat from earlier.

My son has just started learning cricket at school so I thought I’d put the end of today’s match on to see if he got into it.

We’ve spent the past half an hour playing cricket in his room with a rolled up piece of tin foil and a mini baseball bat :ROFLMAO:

Ace hope you weren’t bowling any body liners at him😂
Best way to get kids into it is by showing them it’s a simple bat v ball game

Luv it... Subbuteo cricket may be an idea as well.

Reminds me of throwing a table tennis ball against the living room wall and trying to head the rebound past my mate who was in goal. The couch was the goal.

Test match? With the ball bearing and operating the batsmen with a string?
Great game

All stars has just finished but if he likes cricket and is young enough definitely get him signed up for next season. It’s a really good way to get them enjoying cricket - plus it’s usually a Friday evening sat in the sun with a beer.

I had that too. Great days. The little ball bearings were easy to lose though after a fiercely batted away 6.

Granddaughter has done that the last 2 years, she really enjoys it, not sure she'll go any further but she has a great time, it's a good set up.
