Domestic season all done so new threads.

Kick it off with Enzo Smugresca inexplicably officially confirmed at Chelsea.

Leicester are annoyed feeling that Maresca jumped ship at the first opportunity (this adds nothing but want my little icon next to the new thread)

Sérgio Conceição going down swinging.

He renewed his contract not long ago but included a clause so he could leave for free if Pinto da Costa wasn't re-elected as President. André Villas-Boas was elected President and he's left as expected.

Portuguese press have reported today though that he tried to include a clause so that Porto would have to pay him €14M if they tried to hire one of his assistants to replace him. He's released a massive rant on Twitter/Insta today confirming his departure and accusing AVB and a member of his backroom staff of a 'breach of trust', a 'lack of integrity' and 'collusion'... Now it's been reported that they're in talks with one of his assistants Vítor Bruno as head coach...

Atlanta have sacked their coach, Gonzalo Pineda, which I think Charlotte get some credit for. 😍

If you haven’t heard, fuck Atlanta.

Burton Albion appoint ex Chelsea development coach Mark Robinson as their new head coach

But late but Chelsea have given Enzo a 5 year contract. Five years! Have they learned fucking nothing?!

Leicester fans seem pleased...

Cooper is a terrible idea not only will he get the club relegated he will bore the crap out of fans with dull football ..and that gormless expression he displays is enough to put me off my pie 🥧

You know that stupid "whooooooooo?" they do when a team brings on a sub at St Andrews and it's someone that everyone obviously knows, like say, Kevin Doyle?

Well now they have an appropriate use for it.

Garry Cook never fails to make a prick out of himself.

“He is a perfect fit for Blues. He is a meticulous planner, with an insatiable appetite for work. Known for his excellent man management skills, he will now focus on building a Championship ready squad in League One. He is the coach we wanted. Blues is the club he wanted. We are very pleased he is here.”

1) Literally never been a manager so not sure he's known for anything yet.

2) Maybe build a League One squad in League One and go from there? Nothing like running before you can walk.

3) The coach you wanted, eh? How come you didn't appoint him instead of Rooney, Mowbray, Venus or Rowett then?

Will Still has been named as the new manager at Lens.
