Farrell makes complete sense. Between Kinghorn, Keenan and at a push Smith/Freeman, fullback is well covered.

Bring in Farrell who has loads of tour experience and can play in the midweek games at a high level, and it’s a no brainer.

I’d agree about the Farrell of 2 years ago, but not where he’s at right now.

I think you would say that Cummings, Earl, Mitchell, Jones and Tuipulotu came out of the starting XV with any credit.

Australia were far from convincing against Fiji this afternoon. Only won with a try in the last minute.

Still expect the lions to win the series as Australia are still not very good.

It will be interesting to see how VERY recent league convert Suaalii adapts to union.

Their back row is decent. Not a huge fan of their backs. Today everything looked very pedestrian, and only one warm up suggests they will be pretty undercooked.
