everything i have read or listened too tonight all praised saiis, and apparently Raul is actually god with a bit of Adama sitting slightly to his right ha ha ha ha
Gonna have to give Traore MOTM. Like I said in the match thread, I’ll put up with the occasional sloppy error from him because of what he gives you at the other end. It’s his shirt to lose now, IMO.
Raul and Saiss were also excellent & Jota had a good second half.
Jesus still looks a little rusty and I suspect Bennett will start again in the league at the weekend.
Considering we had such a difficult draw, we’ve sailed through it. Thank you to Nuno and all involved. The Europa League. Bloody hell.
Group of death looks like, Roma, Mönchengladbach and Rangers.
Easier group CSKA, Ludogorets and Dudelange.
Almost certain we’ll be seen as ones to avoid from pot 3.
Belotti is one of those forwards that means you always have a chance. I'd love to see him at Wolves, gave Vallejo a torrid time
Saiss imperious again, Moutinho excellent as always - dude wasn't even sweating.
Traore will learn when to try to dribble out of his own half, Torino gave him the opportunity to do it a few times then took the ball off him - he will learn though.
Incredible achievement tonight. All I kept thinking was that once the final whistle went, and group stage was confirmed, was that the sleeping giant has fully woken. What a journey it has been for this club.
Proud to have shared the last 10 year rollercoaster on here with you all xx
Yeah Belotti looks quality. Saiss superb, Traore superb, Jota superb, Raul superb. Boly and Vallejo both had shaky starts, but both improved with Boly at times looking his imperious best. I wish it wasn't a disturbing pattern that we start slowly in most games, but it happens so often you have to wonder if it's a deliberate strategy.
