Firstly I’m not confident that the incomings are as good as what’s left not to say they’re poor but probably not enough to cover the gaping gaps in the squad.

We’re also at the riskier part of the managerial cycle this season - potentially changing a good one for a Lage / GON one.

As it stands right now, I think we are seriously in trouble. We’re a team who can’t score goals, can’t keep them out at the other end - and we have no available options off the bench to turn a game in our favour. The manager has a way of playing and a number of players in the squad who don’t suit the style. We lack in quality and numbers right across the squad.

I won’t vote yet, because I’d like to see a couple of games from the newly promoted clubs before I decide, but the fact I even need to do that shows how much of a pathetic failure this window has been, and how much managed decline we’ve gone through over the last few years.

I think we are one of 5 clubs who could easily be relegated: the 3 promoted teams, and Brentford making up the 5 with us. It's a shot in the dark whether we will survive or not. We look woefully short of real talent and numbers. I think this is the year our luck runs out.

Can't say that I saw much from the new signings that offered much encouragement... players off the bench were very "meh"... we look significantly weaker than when we finished last season.

That creative spark, the gift of being able to generate something out of nothing, has all but gone with the loss of Cunha and to a lesser but no less important element with RAN.

Well if it’s as it stands I’ve voted down and it’s not even close. Who are we playing when Andre or Gomes are injured or suspended? We need to find a goal and we’re bringing on Munetsi? I mean, it’s appalling as it stands today. The hope is that the clear out has been decent and might get better so surely, surely, we have to be bringing in numbers. I think it’s slightly the most likely scenario that we bodge that and VP goes during the season.

We ended last season terribly, have sold a couple of our best players and had a poor pre-season. What could possibly go wrong?

I’m hoping Vitor is still the man and our run of wins last season wasn’t a fluke. Our form aside from that run wasn’t all that great.

Fingers crossed we get some more players in and finish comfortably mid table but with Fosun in charge I expect we’ll be in a relegation battle again.
