Yep, I'd be guessing at one of the years though. One was I'm pretty sure 2008 at the old Yankees stadium a weekend afternoon game after playing the previous night. A Rod and Jeter both played. The other a weekday night at the new Yankees stadium about 4 years ago.

Bit the bullet and did it. Can't give you a single good reason why. I wasn't going to be happy whatever I did.

Oh well. May as well make it 35 years.

*Disclaimer* I never unequivocally said no :D

That is now two years in a row where they've annoyed me enough to take it right to the last day and accepted that it's a decision with no logic behind it, but I'll do it extremely begrudgingly. That shouldn't be. The 90s were a void of nothingness with some players who showed criminal amounts of indolence but I enjoyed it more than this (and it's not that we just finish mid-table, I'm fine with that in the grand scheme of things, it's that we're horrible to watch most of the time and the attitude of the club stinks more than Boris Johnson).

What can I say. I don't get another football club.

It’s about time something I said caught some traction on here. It’s gotta be a couple of years since the Shi photoshop holding a packet of crisps…

I’m pleased most have renewed (shame for those that haven’t, obviously). Would have been shit if most that were on the fence hadn’t bothered. Like Booz said yesterday, the club is ingrained in the legacy fans and their families and it’s an absolute pisstake that Jeff doesn’t seem bothered in the slightest about them.

It seems pretty clear that from a business point of view the advantages of a larger capacity stadium also bring disadvantages. How many would have let their ST go if they knew there was a ticket readily available for most games? As things stand any ST will likely be taken up by fans on the awaiting list but it’s quite conceivable that within a couple of years the waiting list will be gone and then there will be a dramatic drop in ST sales even at the current capacity.

Unless we're pushing the Champions League spots😉

Just to clarify, my not renewing is nothing to with style of football (I renewed under Hoddle so, what do I know), feelings on Fosun, Jeff, pricing etc.
I can afford to go and normally I would be renewing. I am going to miss the pre-match shizzle but its the state of mind why I am not going next season. The Covid season battered something out of me, a little bit of love of the game and have decided my time at the weekend can be spent doing other things I don't like...

I am hoping in 12 months time I have missed it so much I am number 15765 on the waiting list.

That wasn't really a factor for me at all. My brother isn't a STH and only missed two home games last season, both out of choice rather than lack of availability. It may have been difficult to get matchday tickets in 2018 or 2019 but it isn't now.

Of course your circumstances dictate it a little bit too, if you're going on your own and aren't too fussed where you sit then it's dead easy. If you want to take a family and all sit together then you may have a few more issues.

Your new title should be legacy fan #1

But that's exactly why he knows he can take the piss, it's a self fulfilling prophecy.

Away season ticket holders can renew between Thursday 9th June and Sunday 3rd July, with the renewal price at £60. Further information will be sent via email in the coming days.

You should be getting something through today by the look of it.
