Gutting to drop points in injury time but we didn't deserve the win.

Not a great performance at all. Backs to the walls defensively for at least 15 mins. The forwards were mostly poor. Gave us very little outlet whatsoever until Podence came on. Traore in particular disappointing as he made nothing happen at all.

As for our goal it was very nice work from Semedo, but terrible defending from Leeds. Its good that Hwang is often there to put them away as last season that would have been collected from Raul's shot.

A decent point considering our winning run, if we look at it overall and not just today.

I'd have taken a point before kick off but disappointing to drop 2 points in injury time. The penalty is soft but nothing less than we deserve for playing like a minnow away to one of the big boys in the cup, this is Leeds minus Raphinha, Phillips, Bamford - basically their best players FFS. Performances are a concern.

Got what we deserved after a terrible second half performance. I thought Sa and Kilman were our standout players. Joao did well as he always does at the backs-to-the-wall stuff, but wish we didn't choose to play like that. Front three all largely anonymous, but the gameplan was the problem.

It was a penalty for me. We'd be screaming for it for us. Bumped legs and also gave him a nudge. Any forward in their right mind would have gone over.

Not even sure we deserved that one point by the end. Offered nothing but last ditch defending for the whole second half. Really concerning how little connection there seems to be between our forward players.

Very poor management of the game, sadly. Threat Traore, though he was in and out of the game, was keeping their defence occupied. Absolutely couldn’t take him off yet he did.

I don’t understand how we could defend so deep and yet so open?!

very frustrating because when we chose to attack we cut them open pretty well and looked dangerous.

Strange performance. We showed absolutely no interest in trying to get forward or to try and keep hold of the ball in any meaningful way. Lucky to get a point.

Next.

Don’t understand the “I’d have taken a point before the game” comments. Leeds were missing several of their best players - and their best player on the day went off after an hour when we were leading.

The tactics were rank. We showed little to no interest in having possession of the ball from the moment we went ahead (and even when we scored, it was against the run of play). We showed zero interest in attempting to score or add a second goal.

You simply cannot expect to do nothing other than defend valiantly for over an hour at this level. Tactics were shite, substitutions were shite - performance was shite.

Worst game by far since Bruno rocked up, and he’s got some serious work to do, as have the players.

Pretty pathetic stuff all around today and we got a point more than we deserved.

Sa, MOTM.

Disappointing to see these same poor decisions made over and over and over

We seem to have a team of players who struggle to string more than 2 passes together. Utter tripe of a performance, didn't deserve even a point. That 2nd half was as poor as it can possibly get. Semedo possibly putting forward a candidate for worst performance of the season. Dendoncker was praised by some for his performance against Villa, but I see nothing in him to make me change my mind as him bring the worst player in this team by an absolute mile. He can't pass, he can't tackle, he can't shoot, he can't control the ball, he literally does nothing except run around a bit. He's fucking useless.

I want to know how a team of well paid professional footballers can look so inept at so many of the basic things like passing and controlling a football. Shocking performance, worst under Lage by a long, long way.

That what disappointed me the most with a bit of intelligence we could have carved them open at will

this is Leeds minus Raphinha
???

Wasn't a great performance but a point away at a tough ground can't be sniffed at.

Surprised by the almost universal negativity, two minutes away from a record breaking away win

Defended heroically for basically the entire second half. That Gelhardt boy turned things; he looks a real player. Ball stuck to him like glue. Saiss looked horrified of defending him one on one.

Individually, Raul has to improve. He was completely AWOL for the second half and we were pinned in throughout as a result. Really shocking performance from him. We know he can produce magic out of nothing but we can't carry him like that. Everything breaks down when he plays poorly and he was poor today.

Tactically, one major sticking point. We never adjusted our wingbacks to combat Leeds attacking the wide areas in transition. Particularly after Gelhardt came on, we would turn the ball over and it would get played there and Leeds would have a free run to our box. And it cost us.

Shame for Semedo to give up the penalty (which I still feel is soft), as he was immaculate otherwise today. All three CBs deserve massive plaudits for not conceding from open play despite being under immense pressure for the entirety of the second half.

In the end, though, taking a point from an away day is no failure. But, as it's plain to see, we have some massive lessons we need to take from today.

They were without Raphinha for nearly the whole 2nd half of the game. ?

If only I'd put money on Paddypower that you'd come out with the same bollox again

Grubby, very grubby. Not a nice watch at all.

didn’t deserve 3 points but still a killer to drop them like that. Although, definitely a pen.

Kilman and Sa as mentioned our best 2 players. I was thinking semedo was playing well when he made that great tackle on the 80th (I think) miniute, for him then to lose the ball the very next second abs to give away the penalty .

Not seen as much of us as others, but I don't know how to define this team. What actually are we under Bruno? What's our identity to you?
