The Count of Monte Bisto speaks:

I'll give you luck, you corpulent twat.

Your player jumping into our player outside the box = penalty, apparently.

And we had how many chances in that game?

Make sure you update that CV next week, eh.

We all know the narrative tho that he’ll adopt, “if I had been here from the start we’d have stayed up”
Basically blame Slavan not me, and I’m not claiming this as my relegation.

Doesn't get to claim a couple of his survival acts then. Everton certainly weren't in the relegation zone when he took over and I don't think Palace were either.

Besides which his brief was to keep them up and he hasn't.

Just seen a worrying report (one of the local rags so not sure of accuracy) about Boly's condition post covid, problem with his heart rate, not able to train since Burnley
This has concerned me slightly. Surely our elite medical team should have noticed he hadn't fully recovered or wasn't quite right prior to the Burnley match?!

Did little apparently.

He has impressed me a lot in his sub appearances recently - he made the goal against Fulham and clearly has a good understanding with Vitinha and Silva. There's definitely a player in there but he's not a starter quite yet: definitely an option off the bench though and he is one I would work with rather than offload. I wouldn't loan him out again.

What was great last night that I haven't seen for about nine or ten games (maybe more) was the passing and moving which made our build-up play considerably more dynamic. Just having runners off the ball made a huge difference and players able to pull off that pass such as Vitinha. I'm not sure if youth is a factor but it's certainly an attribute that Ait-Nouri, Vitinha, MGW, Silva and Otasowie possess in terms of running and just giving the opposition something to think about. The passes won't always come off, but it's nice to see the train of thought - even Semedo and Dendoncker were making runs as Vitinha was nailing the passes, so I think confidence in team-mates is an element as well.

As I said earlier, Nuno's post-match comments were very interesting around attitude and solutions for the future. I think a couple of players may have spent their chances here, or have got a lot to prove to come back into the eleven.

I dunno, Boly, Podence and José were the three who started vs Burnley and didn't yesterday. One has Covid, one is shite, not our player and won't be here next season (we knew this months ago) which only leaves Podence. Who might well be on the outside looking in for a bit but he still came on yesterday and it's more a form issue than anything else.

It might just be a rocket to the team generically then, but we did compete more on and off the ball yesterday.

I know they're a bit of a bobbins team but I think last night proved our squad isn't in as dire a strait as maybe we all thought. I'd be happy with one or two CBs, a CM to replace Moutinho and another attacking player to give competition to Podence, Traore and Neto, although to be honest I think Silva could be quite handy on the left with Raul in the middle. He won't be a dynamic winger but he possesses good movement, understanding of the game generally and mucks in defensively - I think him and Jimenez could formulate a good understanding.

The issues wasn't highlighted until after the Burnley game. He was fine and training ok then and performed fine in 1 game then joined in the fun and games of pretending never to have played football before in the next.

Just read Nuno's words and you will see this wasn't a random test he has with regards to his heart. They are done all the time and the one directly after Burnley showed up an issue. So our "elite" medical team picked up the problem as soon as they could.

Podence is an odd one. For me, he was fine until got that kick v Man Utd (not a foul though!) and then missed 2 lengthy spells and his comebacks have seen him look like he has no legs anymore. Half paced, half energy etc

This is my last post. Didn’t know where to put it so here was as good as any. Good luck to you all and hope we have a better season in 2022 on and off the pitch. Stay safe . Bye.
Don't think here's any need for you to leave. You post opinionated comments (nothing wrong with that) but you have to accept it when people disagree, its the nature of a forum, especially a football forum.
Up to you of course, no point hanging around if it makes you unhappy.

Allardyce reckons Albion were the much better team on the news report. Sam, you Twat Albion play in stripes, not old gold.(or yellow since adidas took the manufacture). And they bought you in to save them from relegation. YOU FAILED.

Cop on a wee bit man, eh.

No-one has been abusive to you, you post stuff that's a bit off the wall sometimes and people disagree. Oh no, end of the world.

I thought Vitinha, silva and RAN where the best of our lot..OO did ok(was part of the goal but is very raw) also looks a bit slow on shorter runs bet he will be faster on longer runs..thought Silva was much better in the air all through the game, winning headers i havent seen before..semedo could and ahould have been closer and stuck his fleg up but was a great cross that brighton or burnley wouldnt have conceded though..Adama held the ball up too long, Pod was very disappointing, hope he find some confidence and maybe try simple things first as ge wants too much..rui some good aaves even if it was mostly straight onto him...and the pitch was like a pool
last 20 mins or more..thought MGW got a few freekicks for us when coming on so we could settle a little..neves faded, not his best game, donck did make some good defensive work second half to support semedo mostly..

Character in Crossroads, in the old non pc days we called him a Thicko, or Dimwitted.

In todays PC world he would be described as having Learning difficulties.

That was the Nickname we had for Albion back then, shows you how fucking slow they are in Sadwell it took them 40 years to catch up.

I dont give a fuck about drawing or losing against them, they are back in the Championship, dont get me wrong it would have hurt like fuck if they had stayed up.

What are everyone's thoughts on Dendoncker's performance last night? I've seen him slandered on Twitter, but I actually thought he did OK apart from when he somehow fell over his own shadow and lost the ball in the first half. I think he went back to keeping it simple and shielding the defence which suited him.
