    Welcome new members

Haha, yes I do apologize if I throw in some Scottish phrases, I try not to wherever possible ;) lol. I'll stick around and try to put more input into this main part of the forum rather than just the Scottish Football!

    Welcome new members

Ok not really a 'new member' but thought I'd give a bit of info to me and why I signed up: Celtic fan Signed up: July 2011 Try to promote the SPL to fans out of Scotland (tough job!!!) Interested in how Wolves do Celtic Favourite Player (present) - Victor Wanyama Favourite Ever Player -...

    Rangers

It is embarrassing for Scottish football that even with 10 points deducted they are 2nd with the closest being Motherwell 9 points behind, but you must see that we have not won the league in 3 seasons! Regardless of points being deducted I still believe we would have won the title this year...

There we go Rangers are in administration! Obviously bad for them but thats the league won for us. Time to celebrate haha

    Rangers

The Rangers fans are not happy with the HMRC! They have said that they will 'appeal, appeal, appeal" :L It will be interesting to see how everything unravels in the next few days! Ah right, yeah I could imagine the derby games would be quite big there :o I'm sure we have have a song that has...

    Rangers

I'm not entirely sure mate. Rangers were dodgy with what they were doing with their money so and this is how they are in this mess, but I'm sure it is possible that over spending over the years other clubs could be hit with problems! Craig Whyte is their owner. Looking in he seems a really...

    Rangers

Haha love it! :L Do you follow Scottish football mate or just know a bit about Rangers and Celtic?

    Rangers

I agree. For the SPL to be slightly competitive Celtic and Rangers have to be there, however what we are saying is after a few seasons of Celtic winning the league, the possibility of Celtic moving to another league could become more appealing. We just never know what is going to happen but it...

    Rangers

I'd love it if we got Portsmouth's place! And that is a very good point you made about is there really any point in Celtic winning leagues 1 and 2 and all the conference ect.... just to make a point. However I do understand why some people might think that we should and I wouldn't have a...

    Rangers

In the Premier League as is stands? Yes I think we would struggle, with more income if we moved to the English Leagues? No I think we could hold our own. At present IMO we have a strong enough team to challenge for play off places/promotion in the Championship. Hooper top goal scorer in that...

    Rangers

It is but this is why they are now in this situation. Overpspending in their 'glory days' and now its coming back to haunt them. We were in a similar position (almost going bust) before Fergus McCann literally saved us and since then we have been stable while Rangers just kept spending. It was...

    Rangers

Good man ;) I don't feel any sympathy towards Rangers on the brink! They got themselves in that position with all their spending, it was only a matter of time it would come back and bite them. IF they do go bust I really hope we have a plan of action to continue to compete!

    Rangers

Bit harsh! :L As much as I dislike Rangers I do believe you cant tarnish all fans with the same brush. You get idiots in every team but it doesn't mean all the fans are like that! I mean I hate it when people say stuff like 'oh they Celtic fans glorifying terrorist groups, the club should be...

    Rangers

I think the referendum is in like 2014 so hopefully it wouldn't be a problem if Rangers go bust this year ;) :L Sorry if this has gone a bit off-topic with the Celtic related posts but I suppose it is kind of related to Rangers in a way i.e the different situations that may occur if they go down!

    Rangers

Of course! That is something that would have to be looked at. Obviously they wouldn't be happy with it but I'm not sure how big a role the government can have on where a football team plays! It would be down to the English FA and the SFA to see what the possibilities are and I reckon the SFA...
