    Liverpool 2-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

The cohesiveness of the team is a massive plus for me, that is simply down to Viktor.

Tremendous second half, the players from the outset they were really up for it. Was it just how it appeared on TV, or was our support virtually mute? Used to be so good away as well.

I did stress that it was my opinion, not fact. Anyway, your last two lines are in agreement with my OP. I'm more baffled how we can look so vulnerable defensively as we did on Saturday with 3 good defensive centre-mids.

    Missing Kilman hugely

Absolutely, but just because that bloke shares your opinion doesn't make it fact. Others are more complimentary. I agree the big mistake was not replacing him, but not only did we sell him and break up a good partnership, we put untried CBs in to replace him. If Kilman was still here, he would...

He certainly splits opinion, looking at West Ham forum, their comments are as polar-opposite as ours......... https://www.kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=188813&start=260

I don't think he's Jesus Christ reincarnated by any means, but alongside an old wise head in Dawson he was very good. In that scenario, I suspect his stats would be very different. Its never wise to break up good partnerships, and given our recent pattern of transfers, I had considerable concern...

    Missing Kilman hugely

If Kilman was fucking shit, what we have now is fucking fucking fucking really really really shit Paddington :)-. I accept he had his weaknesses, certainly in terms of captaincy, but he was head and shoulders above the level any of our centre backs are capable of, including Mosquera, in my...

    Missing Kilman hugely

The failure to replace one of our key centre backs has led to the worst defensive display I have ever witnessed yesterday. This failure on behalf of the club is indefensible. It's amateurish at best, and should lead to immediate sackings. Of course, I know that will not happen, but it is...

I am in my 60s and i have quite serious short term memory issues, but i can remember many things with relative clarity back to the early 70s, at least when it when it comes to Wolves. But not the 1960s. My first Wolves game was quite late, aged 6 in 1969.

Two large scale surveys over several months suggest that Wolves have a large fan base living within a seven-mile radius, 81% in one survey (putting us 3rd), and 67% (5th) in another survey putting us a little lower but still high. Not sure how large-scale these surveys were though...

Not too bad considering the low feeling about the club. Thanks Deutsch!

Wolves 2-0 Burnley (Carabao Cup 2nd Round): Verdict Thread

What was the crowd last night? Seems impossible to find. I thought it looked quite good about 17000?
