When I used to use the Brittania it was called the Victoria [I think], Weatherspoons was still the co-op and the Premier Inn didn't exist. Talk about a changing face.
It has to be better than the bloody Britannia over the road. Although I do have fond memories of a couple of dirty weekends there back [way back!] in the day.
This is the first time I have seen them and I am most impressed, they way they handle the ball all through the team is outstanding. On this watch they look like a premiership team for sure, no make that a good premiership team.

Around the same time, when "The Posada" was a genuine spit and sawdust joint the landlord was a serious hard case [well he had to be] and an ex Wolves player from the 40s, early 50s. Can't remember his name either!
You have to be a certain age but you may remember another Wolvo character. "Jimmy the Pill" anyone? A tall elegantly dressed black guy with a Doctor Who hat and scarf, used to cruise the town center in the sixties, always willing to meet your chemical based recreational needs. Long gone.
