Man City 5-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

“We don’t want games re-officiating” sorry who’s we? “Clear and Obvious” is just to vague and to flexible so it can be used and abused. It’s the exact reason why mr Salisbury get himself in a mess when we were at Man Utd in August, it’s the exact reason Tony Harrigton got muddled at Newcastle...

    The Football News Thread 2023/24

Far bigger issues to worry about currently and fighting the PL for 1 meaningless point back is waste of time and money.

Man City 5-1 Wolves: Verdict Thread

The moment you remove the clear and obvious nonsense the moment you remove ambiguity and places to hide. Just look at the nonsense of all this “ its wrong on field” but “but its right off field with replays” my conclusion is not re-reffing matches. Explain our disallowed goal v Bournemouth...

Someone suggested on talkshite Dyche should be considered and is in the top 6 of managers in the league (they didn’t fucking win for 14 matches!!!)

Yep the concept is manager of the season ie how have you done from day 1 couldn’t buy a win until October and coming 10th after a healthy budget isn’t a wow. Done a good job but nowhere near manager of the year.

Even with their points back they’ve had another crap season treading water. Forest again are another club similar to our claret and blue neighbours who love to yell out loud about how great they’re.

    Live Match Discussion 2023/24

First time since 2015 a PL club hasn’t reached a final in any of the European competitions so I don’t think it’s a viable excuse. You can flip it either way playing in the PL maintains high standards and keeps sides battle hardened. Problem in the CL this year is the PL had 2 sides one that was...

    Live Match Discussion 2023/24

The we’re tired and and to many injuries excuse is a theme amongst the arrogance of Aston. Big news this problem will be even bigger next season, either you want Europe and risk being tired or you don’t. Almost certain all Villa fans are born with an arrogance chip implanted, my daughters best...

    Non League Football.

Wellington is the oldest part of the area and is where the ground is. I know people who watch them but as said it’s more of a second club. I’m a bit further out so there’s next to none here Shifnal is mainly a Wolves/Villa/Albion town.

    Non League Football.

Living near Telford I actually don’t know anyone who supports them full time. They’re kind of a second club for most with a lot being phoney Liverpool fans etc

I’ve avoided everything from that day since now I was at a conference that weekend in central London and left at 3pm that Sunday, even then the feeling around London was just feral and intimidating. Just a horrible day in every sense. Experiences with England fans is that most don’t intend or...

    The Football News Thread 2023/24

Watched the documentary on Netflix about the Euro2021 final. Pretty grim watching, combination of poor organisation, post covid and mostly stag do fuck you culture. Hindsight kick off should’ve been at 3pm and far more police in and around the stadium and further ticket cordons along Wembley...

    General Wolves News

The pitch at the bottom that looked out onto the fields was in good condition and nicely hidden away when I lived there so not surprised it was used.

    Crystal Palace (H) 11/5: Build-Up & Match Thread

Their fully firing first 11 isn’t better than ours, they’re in good form but still have holes to exploit. Our midfield for starters is far stronger even if Wharton has been in good form.

If you divide the season in 2 and forget the post xmas performances of Leicester then yes their points stats were excellent as were Ipswich. Post Xmas and it’s Albion 07/08 promotion stuff at best. Points total is lower than Burnley, Ourselves and level with Norwich a few years ago. McGuire work...

    There goes Julen!

Always had feeling that he thought he was doing us a favour by being here. Clearly knows how to coach a side but as for what West Ham want I think they’ll realise very soon that not an awful lot will change in regards to league position or style. This a fan base who change their goalposts on the...

Does stick two fingers up to forest but they’re staying up Luton have ran out of legs I think, West Ham will annoy everyone and scrape a win this Saturday after being grim since Xmas.
