Charged with attempted rape and sexual assault, a total of 14 charges
 
Heard it on the radio on the way home, had this been murmured about before or had it come out of the blue ?

I thought this had all been disproven before ?
 
There had been reports about allegations made last year.
 
On dear how sad. Could not have happened to a slimier person imho regardless of the outcome.
 
There have been rumours about his 'behaviour' for some time - surprised that it's got this far
 
Not really a surprise though - these are the same offences he was investigated for by the Scottish Parliament aren't they?
 
He had a 'sleepy cuddle'.

Cleared cleared or not proven guilty ?
 
Case had been falling apart for a while, a least a couple of witnesses discredited. Can't decide if innocent or just a good legal team.

NB. 12 not guilty, one not proven.

He’s giving evidence at the moment, with sturgeon scheduled to do the same - will be really interesting to see how it all turns out
 
Salmond will probably come out of it okay but Sturgeon will be better. She won’t fall as the SNP and her personal ratings are flying.
 
Doesn’t mean much in the U.K. parliament, doubt its much different there. It’s not as though she’s actually bunged her mates millions in untendered contracts.
 
There aren’t any of those any more as far as I can see - racism, fine; corruption, no problem; helping a foreign government, don’t do it again or grr; bullying, crack on.
