Boris at it again and the contest to replace the lying c***

Handcock and Sharma backing for this because they fear anti vaxxer bullshit is gaining support online and it would promote confidence.

I had two houses and a caravan in Cornwall up until a year ago, never won a government contract in my life !
The real question should be did he fulfil his part of the contract, if the answer is no then have at ye, if the answer is yes then you have no more right to tell him what to do with his money then I have to tell you.

Very true, it's his money he can do what he wants with it.

How he came about that money is very much our interest though.

He's got connections to the ruling party of government and he's got a contact for 100's of millions of pounds without going through a competitive tendering process. It would appear that he's found a huge amount of wealth which may lead people to scrutinise how that happened.

There are multiple examples of contracts being awarded to people with similar connections. The government is also being taken to court to release the information from such contracts as they are breaking the law by not doing so.

Are you happy that government contracts have been awarded in this way and that tax payers may have been fleeced in the process? Are you also happy that a company is ten times more likely to have received such contracts if they friends in high places of government?

I think it stinks.

Have i ever said I am happy with the way contracts have been awarded, ever ? I will humbly apologise if you can find evidence to the contrary
My question which you managed to skirt around was, Did he fulfil his part of the contract ?

I think if anyone is doing the skirting here, it's you.

He may well have fulfilled his part of the contract, i don't know. But what is under scrutiny here is how he obtained the contract in the first place.

Really, by saying I've never supported how the contracts have been awarded is skirting the issue ??? I bet you could have an argument in an empty room couldn't you ?

You win November's irony award, well done.

You are instantly defensive, no one gives a shit about the guy buying houses, the issue here is how he obtained the contract, it really is as simple as that.

That's not true is it? Jolemai has posted two stories, both of which are headlined by the man buying houses.
Ok, i was specifically talking about people on here, as that is where this discussion is taking place.

I don't think from what i have read that anyone is bothered about his house buying? They are bothered about the process in which he got that money, but for some reason that i don't understand Paul is deflecting to the houses part of the story.

You'll strain your back moving those goalposts.

Oh and Jolemai specifically mentions the man buying a house. Hard to think the original poster meant to criticise anything other than a man buying a house.

@Jolemai , are you bothered about the bloke buying his houses or how he managed to obtain the money to buy them?
FFS mate, let it lie, the original post was about him buying the house, the following argument was about him buying a house, nobody anywhere on here has endorsed the method for appointing tenders anywhere, ever. Ok ?

The house thing is a convenient excuse to ignore the fact that the means to get the houses is pure corruption.

See my issue is every week we have stories of apparent impropriety in the awarding of government contracts, some on the face of it are scandalous at best, but there is never any repercussions or recourse of these, you would think an opposition party with a leader at the helm with a modicum of legal knowledge would literally have a field day. It is a sensational newspaper headline one day and in the recycling bin the next.
I mean this guy seems to be blaming the opposition for the governing party's corruption.
