Away clubs get the choice don't they between quadrant and lower SB. If they take SB they pay for all the tickets regardless of if they sell them all. I may have imagined this but I swear I've read this before

Yep, that's correct.

I don't blame Fulham for not selling out. Terrible away stand at our place, one of the worst cities to go to as an away fan as you can't get in anywhere, they've played us loads so no novelty value, sat in direct sunlight for 2+ hours in 35 degree heat, either drive up or sit on a coach in those conditions all the way from London and back. Sounds great.

You do know there's a bit of an economic 'pinch' out there as well as trains, holidays etc. , don't you ?
Seems you can't read as I literally said people can't justify the cost. Not sure why you bother coming on here tbh as I very rarely see you offer any opinions about Wolves, just sniping at other people's posts.

Nothing we didn't already know.

I'm almost certain there will be another increase this summer after the transfers we've made.

We'll ignore that was all necessary because of their prolonged negligence in the market/backing Lage.

I know exactly what will happen.

They'll put them up by 5-10% again, for no reason.

Our wanker fans on Twitter will proclaim that acccccthhually it's really good value.

I'll grumble about it, make a load of fact-based arguments about how it's completely unreasonable, threaten to not renew, then renew with one day to go.

I follow this process, except that sometimes I've decided early on I'm renewing but don't want to give Vinny cash until as late as possible.

What you need to do is posture on the Internet about it. They'll never know.

In fairness in each of the last two years money has been a bit tight (I'm alright now) and I really was close to not going (no, really). But I've resigned myself now to being locked in forever, if I didn't stop then, I'm never going to stop unless I literally can't find the funds.

Point is they shouldn't be pushing someone like me to that point, it's ridiculous.

They try and claim it’s fair because all of our tickets are roughly the same cost and therefore there is no really expensive and no really cheap so West Ham’s cheap ticket in ZZ is cheap and you can’t see the pitch but there’s only 500 of them or whatever. But it still doesn’t really help people who would rather a cheap ticket in a shit location/stand than be priced out.

Although it’s still laughable that Steve Bull upper tickets are as expensive as they are. Yes the view is decent anywhere but the facilities are obviously woeful.

Tbf, I was close this season. Mostly because of Lage and the bilge he served up, plus the additional cost to watch the trash we were seeing.

Only renewed so my brother had a mate to travel with 🤣

I was a regular from about the age of 12 right through to the mid eighties, I packed it in the season we went down from div 2 to div 3, I actually fell asleep leaning on a barrier in the south bank.
Had two sons and in the late eighties got the call, ‘Dad can we go to the match’.
Since about 1990 have had a season ticket in various parts of the ground, I sometimes feel like I’ve had enough ( like last Saturday for instance ) ‘it’s the hope that kills you’, someone once said.
Anyway I’m an old bastard now so I get a cheap one, I’ll renew.

Don’t be telling them you’ll be renewing. That’s exactly what Vinny wants to hear.

Yours is definitely going up I believe, Vinny was explicitly going after older customers supporters so they paid more like 65-70% of an adult ticket rather than what it was.

I'm really high up on the waiting list but the price is putting me off, should I get a chance to buy one.

Similarly high on the waiting list but would rather not be crammed into the Steve Bull wings. Can go to any game I want as it is, so why would I commit to a huge upfront fee, no incentive

Think your issue might be that people will relocate from the SB and the BW if the opportunity arises. So you’ll only ever really get STs open up in the shit expensive seats.

I'm happy going to every sat 3 o clock and picking the others based on what I've got on until a decent seat in the Northbank comes up.

Considering not renewing for the first time. Ill health and not enjoying matchdays as much, combined more than the cost. Although putting the price up again for 2hrs in the Steve Bull, will be taking the piss.
