Barcelona are desperate with Suarez out for a bit. Everton are hoping to squeeze them for more. However, that’s unlikely as Barca had to borrow £500m from an English banking source for the Nou Camp upgrades as Spanish banks refused them credit. They might as well get Maxi Gomes at £85m.

Interesting one today is Palace trying to sign Ferguson from WBA. He is a serous talent but his contract is up in the summer and he has refused to sign a new one. Linked with all manner of top Euro clubs so Palace would be an odd move.
