Wolves / Covid-19

Would seem that I need to be in a 'pot' with others to even get a chance to buy (assuming that I am happy to drive up) - no other known S/T holders locally so may need others to allow me into their group to get any sort of chance.

Academic at the moment as no one is allowed in, though I would make a decision as to whether I am prepared to accept the risk level as and when we can

You can pop into a group with Richard, Fletcher and I. We're the cool kids.

Don't act like you're put out by this. A man of your means spends more than this per month on ivory back scratchers.

Randomly did buy a back scrubber this week. No ivory in it tho.

Looks like 1000 might be the max we are going to get for the foreseeable as per The Times.

What do we have 20000 season tickets? Be lucky to see one game this season.

I reckon at most championship and premier league clubs that'd end up losing them money

Saw a piece on that a while ago and can’t remember the number they gave for us to make a loss at but it was definitely over 1,000. Pointless really.

There are a couple of theatres opening in London at vastly reduced numbers (probably not even that scale, I mean that is 3.12% of our capacity) and they acknowledge they're going to lose money (but want to reward people who've donated funds to help keep the business going).

Now we can afford to lose a few quid in the grand scheme of things but the likes of say, Preston? Don't think so.

Yeah every PL club should be able to absorb the losses, I can’t imagine sitting in a virtually empty ground watching a game though. It would be well weird.

I don't mind it for the U23s, but then you know it's the U23s. An actual Premier League game? Just odd.

I watched the Ligue Un highlights last night (go me) and they had a fair few fans in at every game. Way way way over 1,000 for sure.

Good to see Middlesbrough on the list of EFL trial clubs. Though Middlesbrough has been on the watch list for a potential increase in lock down measures so I can't see any potential issues that would have ruled them out of the test...

Jesus can you imagine working in the ticket office when this is getting sorted though, you'd be just getting ear fucked by the superfan competition, 20,000 people moaning like fuck every week they miss out on the match. Fuck knows what sort of system they could use, would just have to be apply, then lottery, Shirley?

You could try some kind of system whereby UCAS style, you stick down six choices, and they'll do their best to guarantee you one of them.

Although clearly nearly everyone is going to stick down Albion and/or Villa.

I don’t really care at the moment as long as I can watch the games, I’d rather be there with a full house but if I’m going to be as far away from the next fan as I was in the NB in League One for one match then I don’t care if I miss out.
