I've been there. Talk to HR and your line manager about your issues (mental health as well as workload) and be kind to yourself. To give 100% you need to be 100% yourself and you're not and that's OK but they need to know. Take care.
It should certainly be on the school curriculum. My kids are pretty good with money but I'll never forget the look of abject terror on their faces when they realised that they'd have to budget for themselves at uni.
It's a real catch 22 but not making the leap of faith leaves you where you are. Be brave and know that you have support. We're all here for you (yes, I know it's a forum on the internet populated by weird wankers but we are, honestly).
Can't see that it would do any harm to drop Crawley and put Bethell or Smith in to open. Ideally Smith to open with Bethell at three and get shot of Pope as well.
We don't really have them for long and during the short time we have we bring them up to be the adventurous, outgoing people they are. It's very much what being a good parent is. Doesn't make it easier, obviously, but it sounds like you did a good job.....
