Farage Ltd and Similar Watch

In a by-election in the birthplace of the comedian Tommy Cooper, it was Plaid Cymru that had the last laugh.
During the campaign, Nigel Farage and Reform UK's candidate Llyr Powell had posed for photos in front of the statue of the legendary comic in Caerphilly.
But when the result was declared at 2.10am at the count in the town's leisure centre, Mr Farage - who'd been campaigning for Mr Powell on polling day - was nowhere to be seen.
In fact, the joke among Plaid supporters at the count was that long before the declaration Mr Farage was halfway down the M4 on his way back to London.

After last night, the result is featured in an article in the Daily Mail half way down the front page.

Imagine if Reform had won……

They will get their chance again for the same Senedd seat in six months and I can't see Plaid holding it given Labour voters likely lent them their votes for this.

Over 12k people voted for a party that offers Wales absolutely nothing. It's mindboggling.

Here's £75k in savings...

From Leeds for Europe;

You couldn’t make this stuff up🤦‍♂️

The Leicester Mercury reports that Reform led Leicestershire County Council is going to bring in external consultants to help them find savings, ignoring their own DOLGE unit just as Zia Yusuf resigns as leader of said DOLGE…oh yes, and Reform campaigned in Leicestershire on a platform of reducing fees paid to external consultants🤡

Unsure whether others are experiencing the same, but it feels like round here they've stopped putting flags up?
Obvs there's a lot still up, but the spread seems to be halting?

Interesting to see Reform pushing their vile, disgusting racist propaganda in Hereford City today next to the European and World food stalls. They were next to the gammon though……..

on Kuenssberg this morning, streeting was damnin of pochins statements. chris phelp tried to avoid criticising her and Kuenssberg pointedly said to him he'd had 4 opportunities to condemn her statements as racist and decided not to agree.
The entire panel were overwhelmingly critical of phelps stance.
