Last won at Arsenal in September 1979 - but a decent chance here I reckon. They are dreadful at the back and the crowd are restless.

Neves in for Bennett and Donck back to RCB for me.

Otherwise that's exactly the team I'd go with. It doesn't take a genius to work out how this game will play out, Arsenal will have most of the ball and we will be compact and try to fuck them on the break. Jota and Traoré on either side of Raúl is the way to do that best.

We will all agree on 3-4-3 (Lycan's version for me)
But Nuno will start 3-5-2, we won't be aggressive enough in the first half and we'll have a goal chalked off by VAR

Arsenal are vulnerable at the back.

Deutsch's team for me - Doherty & Traore are starting to build a bit of an understanding & the former will be more use at RWB than dropped into the back line (not sure that that was a brilliant idea anyway).

Think we’ll start 3-5-2 with Traore at rwb then change it in the second half and push him further forward to catch them on the break. Basically try and repeat the city game.

Because they are vunerable at the back and their fams are turning I hope we go at them more in the first half than we usually do. Obviously we can't leave ourselves too open given their front 3.

Ps that gag deserves some love

It’s November. Anything is a bonus. I am going 2 nil Arsenal. That way I am not disappointed.

Deutsch's team for me. Not entirely comfortable leaving Neves out but I think we need to capitalize on Traore's form against a poor defence. As others have said, Doc looks more comfortable playing around him lately, too.

I think Norman Deeley might be right about Nuno thinking more conservatively than us, though. In a 3-5-2 I'd go with Traore as the wingback, I think.

Lycanthropy, anyone? gonbys.com/arsenal-1973

Never thought I'd see a thread proposing teams without Neves!
Agree with DW's team though. Have a strong bench. The gunners are in a form of disarray, and their defence leaves a lot to be desired. Have to be optimistic. 3-4-3 from the start, we're favourites I guess.

If we didn't go 3-4-3 against bloody Newcastle I can't see Nuno doing it against Arsenal, unfortunately. Hopefully he's at least learnt his lesson of not shoving our best attacking threats out of position to accommodate a formation, at least.

No Bennett tomorrow. Not 100% after the Villa game

Same team as against Newcastle then just depends how we line up within that

Xhaka won't be in the Arsenal team this weekend

Bench of Ruddy, Kilman, Vinagre, MGW, Neto, Cutrone and a toss up between Vallejo and Jordao then I imagine.

MGW isn't fit at the moment as far as I know.

MGW a doubt with his back injury, only being doing training with the recovery coach today. BAS might get on the bench again

The team in the formation that started the second half at Newcastle seems obvious to me.

Simply cannot start Doc at RCB and Adama at RWB with Donk in midfield. That just didn't work

Agree. Doc may have the height to fill in there but he simply isn't a defender at heart.
