Didnt have to tell me but let's be honest that game is not the norm.
The cynic in me would suggest pitching like a 8 year old with a broken elbow was requested for 6 or 7 innings to help boost the chances of runs or nearly all the pitchers thought they were playing for West Ham and bottled it at the London Stadium

I would say that was the baseball equivalent of Wolves 6 Rotherham 4 from a few years back! Baseball is so engrossing. Time really flies. The music and theatre also help the watcher get involved. I was always surprised it wasn't more popular over here.
The Yankees batting line up is very good right now. Porcello, the Red Sox starter isn't great but a 4.52 ERA (earned run average) coming into this isn't stinking out the place and he did pitch a 7 inning shut out two games ago.
Tanaka, the Yankees pitcher, is having a very good season with a 3.21 ERA. His best in 5 years and has pitched a complete shut out this season.
Both pitchers just had a mare and the bull pens aren't really equipped to go nine innings with all their relievers.
