No it's bollocks.I can see why he’s brought a more attack minded player on. Bellegarde wasn’t the one that I would have gone with but I can understand it. Toss up between Traore and Lemina for who to take off
Apparently.

He’s about 4th in line I reckon ha!I'd like to take a look at Gonzalez, even if he doesn't do much.
Every team has to leave themselves open to that possibility at some point if they want to have a 3v2 in their favour elsewhere. Problem with Wolves is that they're so bad playing through from deep that they never get as far as the overload in their favour and repeatedly gift the opportunity straight to the opponent.Fatigue doesn’t push players so high up the pitch that we’re exposed 3v2 in Palace’s favor after every turnover.
He's gonna fuck them up. Just wait.Go on Jean!
I get that we're missing Dawson, but let's be real, he's not VVD and we didn't exactly look solid anyway.
From PTS' article today:
With Dawson in the starting XI: 42 games, 1.4PPG, 1.5 goals conceded per game, 40% win rate
No Dawson in the starting XI: 12 games, 0.9PPG, 2.2 goals conceded per game, 25% win rate
I think the one thing the top teams do better than anyone else is prevent counter attacksEvery team has to leave themselves open to that possibility at some point if they want to have a 3v2 in their favour elsewhere. Top teams leave themselves open to the counter a lot but they're either good enough to do the 1v1 stuff when called upon or often just savvy enough to chop someone down before it goes too far.
