Just had me thinking just about all top level goals are the rectangular shaped netting.

Nevertheless just a thought on some of everyone’s favourites from the past and worst.

My personal favourites the Old Wembley Green arched stantion posts very iconic or the ones that Chelsea use to have in a slight of triangular shape.

Worst Southampton at the Dell and wasn’t a big fan of the nets at Molineux in the early 90’s.

Always remember this goal due to where the ball ended up. Vital win too on the night.

Chris Armstrong did the same for Palace at Molineux in 95 I think

Was it a young Stuart Atwell who disallowed a goal that had hit the stanchion and bounced back out?, one for the VAR deniers I reckon.

Stuart Atwell was at Watford v Reading in 2008

Probably the most famous one

Upton Park's were one of my favourites.

I loved our nets in the 90s

I liked USA 94. Underline to the keeper that if you've conceded, go and fucking fetch it.
