Its a physical, workhouse team that lacks flair and suggests VP thinks we'll be struggling and need to bring some flair on.

It’s not so much that it lacks flair as much as it lacks decent footballers.

Doc, Munetsi, Hoever and JRB should be nowhere near starting in an ambitious PL side.

It’s an awful team.

Seems an odd choice to me but I have no idea what the dressing room is like so perhaps he’s a very popular lad.

Strange that Agba seems nowhere near consideration.

Agree with EP that it's massively devoid of flair (I haven't seen Wolfe play but I imagine he's not in the RAN mould), three CBs, two functional WBs, two CMs that don't really create, a big lad up top and a workhorse who hopefully can make him tick.

Basically we're reliant on magic from Bellegarde 😅 until we can get some subs on

It’s obvious how Vítor has set us up. He wants Bellegarde & Munetsi to chase around and press - to be physical and to TRY to get close to JSL so he’s not completely isolated. Then if we’re still within a goal or so of them an hour in, I guess he’ll throw on Fer & Jhon.

Anyway, Black Sabbath blasting out in the ground. Love that.

And Jorge Mendes (with some entourage) is at Molineux. Can’t imagine that would be happening without some impending transfer activity…

I don't mind Bellegarde starting tbh. Surprised to see so much negativity around him - or am I just suffering from a case of Alan-was-right-all-along-itis still?

Munetsi though. Come on.

Am I mad in thinking James Trafford has looked ropey every time I see him? Bit of the Meslier about him in so far as everyone says he’s a great talent and all I see is him throw it in his own goal every few months!?

Munetsi is much better without the ball than with it, and tonight we'll spend a lot of time without the ball

I’d rather sit deep than chase shadows. City really struggled last season against teams with everyone back and givi giving them no space.

Hoever been skinned twice by Doku in the opening three minutes. Gonna be a long afternoon for him.

Andre looks in a lot of discomfort here. Thankfully we have great squad depth in those midfield areas if required…
