Pre-season 25-26

Calling it now. We'll get an equaliser and then Sam Johnstone will have the performance of his life in the penalty shoot out to help us win the cup.

There's your positivity, @Kenny!
More insanity than positivity tbh

Thought there was little to no drop off between JSL and Sasa. Not sure what that says about either of them.

"Costa Brava Trophy Champions....we'll never sing that"

Wolves vs Celta Viga surprisingly on Premier Sports 2 on Saturday. 2.55pm.
I was surprised they had the game on tonight.

I did wonder what you were on about in the first half.

Yea, i not view that guy Hoever the last seasson, and think he are P.Lima.

Same H. Bueno and S. Bueno, and seem H. Bueno worn on Vigo. Seem they returned of cesions.

Hoever look nice, but he fail a lot center actions, if improve that seem a good player. And H. Bueno play nice too.

I think Yerson walks into our 11 if he can prove his fitness and stay fit. Absolutely love how he plays on the edge. And that’s one position where we actually have a back up that can be relied on should he pick up a suspension (in Doc 😬).

State of that trophy and how have we been given one for losing?! Doc’s face says it all 🤣

Lots of positives to take from that. Santi Bueno being utterly shite and some kid curling one into the top corner from 20 yards isn't enough to put a dampener on a decent pre season performance where we were in control for large periods against a very good side.

I liked what I saw from Arias. Hopefully we add another forward and Jhon can give us enough of what Vítor likes about Munetsi that we don't have to see him in that position much this season.

Of the players that have had significant minutes this pre season Hoever is a clear weakness, we need that RWB in before the season starts.

Whenever we don’t win friendly or not it’s going to draw criticism due to the squad issue but i don’t think tonight was that bad. Played well first half without creating too much but then quality dropped right after half time much like on Wednesday. Johnstone was appalling, punch was unnecessary just before the first goal and his attempt for the second was interesting.

Changes worked with particularly Mosquera and Arias looking good. Loads of work still to do but in terms of on the pitch don’t think we’ve learnt anything about the players and we’ve got to wait to see what Teti and Jeff do with incoming players.
