It's a recruitment failure on a grand scale if he's starting the first game of this season. On a par with starting that game without new replacements for Semedo and Ait Nouri, which also seems likely.

As we are not targeting a RCB we have to presume Vitor is happy with Doc as an option.

Not once as he mentioned wanting a RCB.

We played him at RB in a back four in the first game of last season.

He couldn't play there against the likes of Gillingham and Oldham 12 years ago.

Seen a post on Facebook saying we’ve got a decent first team as it stands it’s just the back that’s a problem.

No doubt, but if he was for sure gone I’d expect he’d know so; EP’s reference to his attitude was the important info, really.

If he has improved in the Netherlands enough that Vítor sees something, I’ll consider it an earned opportunity by him.

Aggie had the bombscare vibes last season, IMV, just got things right in the end (think I called him a deluxe Stearman at one point). I worry about him, but hopefully it’s for nothing in the end.

That, and Cheikh N’Doye convincing me there was no point in trying.
