Wests have a fair amount of money as I am sure the Doggies won't have got Lachlan Galvin from them for free

Looks like they are letting Galvin go for the purposes of using the cash to build a side, presumably around Jerome Louai.

They are playing some reasonable stuff this year but can be very inconsistent to say the least.

Galvin was going to let his contract run down and leave any how. His strop (via SM) with the club led to him being initially dropped from the squad by Benji and the decision was made to cash in on Galvin.

Pretty ignominious after all those years of service, but the side were bloody awful in the first game so sweeping changes and scapegoats were likely I guess.
