Societal collapse?

Just what is the point of threatening violence? There's always been 'trans' people getting on with their lives and there always will be. It's the violent and threatening people like in the NHS worker case above as well who have the greater need for guidance.
 
I mean you’ve just got the gig and need to show people you’re not actually the load of weirdos and fantasists they think you are and this is how you read the room.

We’re a bit past that now. Both sides are utilising everything they’ve got in their armoury to achieve their political goals and the police are caught in the middle of it. All amplified by social media but it is the 21st century whether we like it or not.

Dealing with that opens up the can of worms around free speech and who is the arbiter of that and it’s where the right have the left between a rock and a hard place.

Five is excessive but if we are serious about stopping hate crimes at some point we actually need to have some consequences for these people. Especially an odious transphobe like him. Pathetic little excuse for a man.

That's exactly how I felt when I went past the hotel with protesters outside at the weekend. Bravo to that letter writer.
 
About a mile stretch of a road in my local town has St George’s crosses on every lamppost. Must be done professionally with a cherry picker/s as the flags are so high up. Creeping closer to where I live too as there were more on lampposts at the top of my road this morning. My eldest informed me that there is a go fund me page or something with £2k collected for more.
Last summer a mate of my youngest’s house had an England flag and an Albanian flag hanging from their windows whilst the Euros were on as his dad is Albanian and been in the country for 15 odd years. Today there’s two union jacks hanging from windows of properties either side of his.
It’s intimidation and it needs the government to call it out for what it is.
 
The White Horse at Kilburn (North Yorkshire) has been vandalised.

Will cost 1000s to sort in time/materials.

Nothing like wanting the best for your country by defacing the most northern chalk figure in England.
