The Race to be Relegated with Wolves, 24/25 Thread

You don't get reaction notifications from people you've got on ignore so the only way you'd see them is if you were going back to your old posts to see what sort of reaction they're getting. Some may consider that to be a little self indulgent, vain even.
Yes you do. Had you on ignore for a long time and you've done it to mine also. God knows why, haven't engaged with your stuff hardly ever

Not true. So how about stop victim blaming and have a think about your own behaviour. I'm going to try this one last time: your drive-by insults are offensive and rude. Please stop doing it.

I definitely don't get notifications of reactions from people I have on ignore, that's not victim blaming it's just the truth of the situation. Offer whatever ultimatums you like, I'm not sure what you're trying to prove with this white knight crusade but carry on if it entertains you.

For someone who doesn’t have the time to type responses to posts on forums you’re wanging about this an awful lot.

Slightly surprised/ confused at the reaction to the emoji, yet does no one else find this to be a bit unreasonable?
I mean, it's a protected characteristic. Should we be labelling people based on our assumption or presuppositions about them?
I generally understand Tony's point that comes after that sentence, but I do feel like this comment was inappropriate, regardless of the rather poor justification for using it.

I didn't use it in an insulting way, I actually used it to explain why I think Mark behaves the way he does. The way he has responded subsequently shows that he can't comprehend the way his actions are perceived by others which only reinforces what I believe to be true, although not what I know to be.

It's that last part that is important though isn't it? You don't know that he is neurodiverse so I don't think it's right to be using that to rationalise the way he posts.

Rather than glibly saying an argument has run its course, how about doing something about it or are you waiting for a national enquiry on emoji reaction use?

I'm not entirely sure what mods can do tbf. It's a individual who just behaves the way they do to seek attention, but it shouldn't take away the experience for everyone else. Like I said, I don't even engage with the individual and they have done it to me previously - but they chose to respond to the point about technical notifications rather than the actual "I literally don't engage with you, what's the point" part.

Personally in my head, the comments above just make me think of Nelson from the Simpsons, the sad little lonely boy with nothing else to do, and I'm personally quite happy to leave that image in my head when I see him doing it and move on. Others might enjoy that approach to, it's quite satisfying.

It has been discussed, in this instance and previously. There's not a lot we can do tbh other than extreme cases.

I was foolishly and naively asking for the thread to get back on topic after everyone had been to bed. In future I'll just lock the thread for a while. But you'll just moan about that too as you do everything else.

My final post on this: I was genuinely hoping to get you to understand that what you do isn't very nice behaviour. It's not about being a white knight (your behaviour affects me personally and I dont like it) and I'm certainly not entertained by the real struggle it's been to ask you to have a quick think about how your actions affect other people.

All you've done is attack people for calling you out on your rude behaviour. It's clear you're not going to stop laughing and jeering at people in this community so I'm not sure what else any of us can say: you win. The non-Wolves fan who thinks the rest of us are simpletons wins. What a nice man you must be.
