The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Like others, I was in favour last month if we were swapping him for Dawson. You'd have got at least an uptick in leadership and lost nothing as Daws is very much done at this level and doesn't offer much off the pitch by all accounts.

When you have a free pick and 3+ months to properly reshape the squad, no.

If he goes into coaching then I'd 100% want him here.
 
I feel a tad for Juric. He has made them look every so marginally better without actually improving them I feel. Was an unbelievably difficult job. I watched the end of their game after ours and they'd have little okay moments and spells, but then concede, just so devoid of quality.
 
One for Lycan to comment on.
 
Sounds a similar DM to Joao Gomes in that he's strong defensively at winning the ball back, but can contribute creatively going forwards as well as popping up with the odd goal.
 
Morita is quality. I prefer Morten Hjulmand and it's not an area we need to upgrade on but he would instantly be one of our top 5 players.

I have serious questions though. If links in the press are to be believed we had an interest in Hidemasa Morita, Manu Silva, Johnny Cardoso (+ the Ukrainian who I don't know anything about)... And we ended up with Marshall Munetsi? I am seriously confused as to how those 4 players were identified as part of the same scouting assignment.

Maybe a replacement for Gomes when he gets sold?

I think we pivoted on the midfielder after Bellegarde turned up.

Ukrainian was a defender target I think.

I know but it's where we are. Chances are Cunha will go in the Summer and at least one of RAN, Gomes, maybe even Andre.
 
Lots of noise on social media about Semedo being in advanced talks with Benfica in respect to signing with them when his contract runs out here.
