The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

And they’re both making as much sense as normal.
I'm talking about Cunha, look at his eyes and facial expressions when he's fouled or didn't get the pass he was expecting.

And dear Wilf, don't be so judgemental, these discussions from whoever, are all based on individual opinions and observations, yours included 🙄

In fairness, i too thought you were talking about Andre, given that's who the previous post was about.

Probably has me on ignore though.

34, 32, 32, 38, 35, 32 and 33.

At least they could cook the books with a sponsorship deal with Saga Holidays.

As id just posted on the other thread, it has been their model so far relying on ageing players on frees. All of those players would do a job at that level for at least next season but at some point they are going to change the model

Not filling the Cunha role but equally would be competing with JSL for the main forward role, can we effectively have two in that role. We need a different forward then Abraham.

Serie A is weird; I’ve never seen another league so often have players get loaned to bigger clubs.

29 goals in 112 games in Serie A which is ok.
Problem is he’s often been at clubs that would create more than enough chances hasn’t been at a club that would be sat mid to lower end of the table.
To add will Everton or West Ham ever learn?
Keep signing big waged players because they’ve had a few England caps and play at a big club.
There’s a reason why Roma loaned him out.

Is the start of the Summer window just ignored now, with Huijsen supposedly signing for Madrid at the weekend and this?

Quite an emotive subject, but how do we feel about him playing tomorrow and Saturday given how complete this transfer looks?

Same as when he came back from the last suspension. If our forward 3 for next season were at the club I'd give them the games to gel. As they (hopefully) aren't then he plays as long as his attitude appears to be right. If he dials it in tomorrow I'd sub him off and not play him against Brentford.

Just done in the open now isn't it.Tapping up from years ago, now how the game is played.

Transfer window is also odd this year. It opens early to allow teams to buy for the World Club and then closes again for a few weeks.
