The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

Vardy is 64 years old, and Parrott has always looked awful.

Let’s go over to Brazil and nick Flamengo’s, or Palmeiras’ centre forward for fuck all money….

Simples.

If Vardy was to say, take Sasha's spot in the squad as a striker who would actually be able to be selected on the bench then I see the merit in that. However his wage demand would surely not be equal to that role and shouldn't there be better HG options available to be a backup then a 39yo?

It feels like we're shopping in the £10-15m punt category

The ease in the way we’ve survived, 2 seasons where all 3 promoted clubs went down.
We coped very well without Cunha in his last suspension also.
All factors that could lead to the hierarchy taking our PL status for granted.

If they are properly scouted and signed for the correct reasons then players in teen £ms shouldn't be punts
Probably a better bang for buck than splashing out loads. There will always be duds when recruiting.

Agba Vs Djiga as an example shows how it can and doesn't work work. (As it stands today)

Leicester City had a squad of these types of players and won the league. We have already seen what a decent manager can do with the sort of players we signed in this price range.

They also bought Winks for £10m and Skipp for £20m and that didn’t end so well. Confirmation that two things matter, the manager and the player not the price of the player. I don’t think I’ll ever understand what made Leicester think Skipp was worth £20m.

One good Buy its Puado (Espanhol de Barcelona) 11 goals and 3 assist, and i think dont is expensive.

He play in all position behing the fordward, and are good in air duels, good teamwork player, and he is cap of espanhol. By this player Espanyol up to first división, and in first division made a great numbers.

He play too in the 9 position sometimes too, its a good polivalent player.

Espanyol have a lot good players by that are 13º this season, in 2023-2024 they are in second división.

I think if Agbadou was 24 next month rather than 28 we could have lost him as early as this Summer. He's been that good
Without a doubt. He's as good a CB as we've had in a long time. He wins everything, he's good on the ball, he's rarely out of position, he's quick enough to cover when needed. He's fucking brilliant.
