The Summer 2025 Transfer Window Thread

What would happen with the e sports wolves branding if we are taken over, would the new owner licence it out for a fee, or would they have to rebrand? Knowing our luck it’s probably in a contract somewhere that the esports owns the wolves branding and we’d have to use something else
IIRC there was talk that the eSports stuff would effectively get a pro bono perpetual license to the logo but the trademark would stay with us. That was more than a year ago, tho, and it may not have been true in the first place.

If they keep eSports and want go use our name it will be via licence.

Reality will be they would just rebrand it

Good to see 'no brainer' signing Kyle Walker-Peters is struggling to get a kick for a West Ham team who've conceded 8 in 2 games.
Well this is daft on a number of levels (and you spoiling for an unnecessary row)

A) it's the second game of the season
B) AWB was West Ham's fans POTS last season, of course he hasn't displaced him.
C) he was signed as back up
D) West Ham conceding goals doesn't mean he wouldn't have still been a useful signing for us.

I just work to higher standards.

The Venn diagram of 'players who are not good enough to get in West Ham's team' and 'players I would like at Wolves' does not have a big overlap.

Paul Caddis II is not in there.

Plus I wouldn’t be judging anyone based on West Ham at the moment. They are a fucking mess and Potter looks a beaten man already.
