Ahhhh! Haha I'll be honest, I haven't really watched a lot of MLS lately. Maybe I should give it a better shot. I used to feel like it was barely League 1/2 caliber. Is it Championship quality now?

I know you aren't the one who made the original comment, but I've tried to back away from the other one because it's generally just not a friendly place. Maybe here will be no different - but I like at least a little positivity. And I feel like personal jabs should be in jest not outright attacks. We're all here for the same reason at the end of the day. We love Wolves, for better or worse.

I’ve settled on MLS being roughly Championship quality overall. Generally speaking, my feeling is that the best players in MLS (not necessarily referring to DPs) will be better than the best players in the Championship, while equally the worst players in MLS will be worse than the worst players in the Championship. Many here would probably say that I’m biased, though (and they’re probably correct in that).

As for the forum, we are certainly not holding hands and singing kumbaya all the time. We have our fights and get OTT, but it doesn’t feel pervasive in every convo. These folks have helped me stay connected through a lot of mental and emotional anguish; it’s as close to an internet “home” as I’ve found. We’re not perfect but we’re pretty damn exceptional in the grand scheme of fan forums, IMV.

Even earlier than that in the 50s and 60s when Charles Buchan's Soccer Gift Book was a staple Christmas gift for young soccer fans.

I'll give it more if a look! I watched some Theo this year but not much else. I wish I lived a little closer to Toronto or Montreal, so I could go to some games. There was talk of a field being built 20 minutes from me for a CPL team, but it got shot down during voting.

I love the CPL but equally can’t recognize any league in which Joe Mason was a premier player.

Müller making his debut last night says the time to get on the Vancouver bandwagon is now. They’ve been a totally compelling story this year, even before signing him.

Seriously though, if MLS doesn’t entertain you, don’t listen to my dumb ass. I have no taste.
